- From US$127.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 291 reviewsThe location is perfect, just minutes from the Autostrade and with plenty of free parking opposite. The room was fantastic, with lovely beds and all the facilities you could need. The 2 swimming pools were also really nice, with one being shallow enough to feel comfortable with my 3 year old swimming in. Finally the staff were superb. They couldn’t do enough for you and were always lovely and charming.Guest review byMike ProctorUnited Kingdom

Since childhood, I was fascinated with Pompei.
Since childhood, I was fascinated with Pompei. The ruins would take a couple of days to completely absorb as the ruins are much larger than imagined from photos. The vistas were incredible. Every facet of the exploration brought new life to what was once a truly vibrant city.Guest review byMiddlebrooks - 10.0

You can just soak up the history, not just in the 2000 year old Roman ruins of Herculeaum but also as you stroll through the lanes and passages of Ercolono itself, a wonderful town in it's own right.Guest review byGrantUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The breakfast and dinners were very good.
The breakfast and dinners were very good. The hotel was very nice as well the pool. The location was also ideal for us, as it was easy to reach the city and other interested places e.g. Vesuvius, Pompei etc. There was even a direct boat to Capri daily.Guest review byMattiFinland - 8.0

It was close to a train line and it was easy to get to Naples. Also the location was good as it was in the middle and we could go to Naples and to Amalfi coast, Pompeii from here with little problem. The traffic in Naples is chaos so it was good that we could get there by train and then use the metro from there.Guest review byIgorSlovenia - 10.0
Torre AnnunziataIs a busy town with lots of good shops.
Torre AnnunziataIs a busy town with lots of good shops. We initially found driving around quite daunting until we understood the driving culture, then it was just fine. The shopping facilities were excellent, but its main advantage for us was its proximity to the archaeological sites.Guest review byColinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Smallish town with magnificent church. Lots of services available and in a strategically convenient location between Sorrento and Napoli. Long pedestrian only area. Fresh, very fresh food, OYSTERS, cheerful residents.Guest review byMargaret De GregorioItaly - 10.0
Great place for trips around.
Great place for trips around. Great transport accessibility by train to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum. It is a clean city according to local customs. There are many shops and services available. The location is very well accessible from the airport (by car 15 minutes, if there is no rush hour).Guest review byPavelCzech Republic - 8.0
This area was quite calm in comparison to Pompeii or Naples.
This area was quite calm in comparison to Pompeii or Naples. A big advantage are the views of the sea and the surrounding towns, and you can also see Mount Vesuvius. The roads were broken in places and very dirty full of rubbish, which is typical of all the nearby towns. For traveling with a smaller car it is OK, with a bigger car I would be afraid of the narrows and wild traffic.Guest review byAlesCzech Republic - 10.0
The area was great.
The area was great. We walked into the centre one lunch time, unfortunately there wasn't really a restaurant open for lunch so we ended up driving elsewhere but this wasn't a problem. The church is beautiful and the roundabout is a real meeting point. The police station was very helpful and there's a lovely few murals around. There's a good mix of shops and nonna's local shop for bread and water etc is fantastic. She's so friendly and the sort of genuine local you would expect. That I love. We really used this as a base because of its great location and we could drive in all directions to visit things. Local restaurant in the evening had amazing service and specialised in home reared meat and dairy products. The butter was exceptional. I visited Pompeii in early October and whilst busy, I was reliably informed that it’s quiet compared to peak summer months. Definitely worth visiting and I’d recommend a guide if you can. So much to see and you should allow a good 3hrs+ to see the whole site. There’s a lot of walking to do and if you’re unsteady on your feet, that will limit some of the things you can see at the site. I’d also strongly recommend you take water with you. It’s hot work even in October. I also visited Herculaneum, which is much smaller but is in many ways, a better preserved site. You’ll see the second floor on many buildings. That said, you get a real feel for how big Pompeii was back in the day. Which is better? Pompeii for me based upon the sheer scale, variety of buildings and the wonder you get of how well developed the Romans were back in 79AD. I’d also say that the surroundings outside of the UNESCO World Heritage site are a whole lot better than Herculaneum.Guest review byMikeUnited Kingdom
