- From US$295.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,371 reviewsPolished hotel with far more space in the room than I expected. Everything was pleasant during my stay and I loved having the space to open my luggage and still have space to walk around. 500ml bottled water provided every day was also much appreciated. The separated bathroom and toilet were also pretty big and I really cannot praise more that the hotel provides tray organisers on the bathroom shelf. It made me feel at home that I didn't have to haphazardly place things on the counter. The hot tub/jacuzzi in the public bath was also a pleasant surprise, and I liked that this hotel provides keycards for the public bath instead of making people remember passcodes. As someone who starts the day late, I'm also appreciative of being able to have the room cleaned all the way up to 3pm. Staff were always courteous and helpful and made it feel like a 5-star experience staying here. I liked the location as well, it's not too far from Gaienmae Station and my favourite Doutor Coffee. I would definitely like to stay here again.Guest review byGraceSingapore
- From US$152.12 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 7,117 reviewsProbably the best APA hotel in all of Tokyo. A bit far from main attractions, but the hotel is amazing! It was my first experience at an APA hotel and I was surprised by how great of a hotel it was. I was expecting a mediocre room and service, but the room, even though it was a bit small, was clean, had everything I needed, the bathroom was great, the whole place was clean, the view from the window was fine and the hotel itself looks amazing. And the price is the best part about it. Maybe it is so low because it is far from main attractions, because, otherwise, I can't think of any problem. And is one of the few APA with open baths for those interested.Guest review byStefanNorway
- From US$156.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 1,790 reviewsMy stay here was incredible. The room was great and clean. The main reason i’m leaving a review is because of how helpful the staff were. I asked about sending a parcel back to the UK as we’d purchased too many things so we needed to post it back. Immediately all three of the staff were on it trying to find all information and quotes on this. The hotel even sold boxes for 200 yen, and Oishi (one of the staff) taped it all up for us and helped us pack it with packing paper as well. Amazing service. Oishi was amazing and was the main person helping us on our mission to send the parcel back to the UK. All the staff spoke excellent English too.Guest review byLucianUnited Kingdom

They leave fresh towels on your door every day. One minute walk to the Shiomi train station which is very convenient. Shiomi train station is only 3 stops from the Disney parks and also only 3 stops going the opposite way for Tokyo station. Very quiet area. 24 hour shop open in the ground floorGuest review byChristyIreland

Great transport links.
Great transport links. East to get around and cheap fares with Suica card. Trains always on time, especially the Bullet Train. Lots of places to eat. We don't like Japanese food so went to Hard Rock Cafe and Pizza restaurants to eat. Lots of places to visit. Do lots of research before you goGuest review byCarolUnited Kingdom - 6.0

What have preferred to stay in Tokyo, but a friend suggested it because we were meeting her. But she didn't tell us about meetings she had and we could have stayed in downtown Tokyo for about the same price. Good location if you need to be in that area with the hotel at the station.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

Fuchu was a wonderful town to stay in on the outskirts of Tokyo. It has a slower, more relaxed atmosphere than central tokyo. The people were friendly and there was plenty to do and see. The tree lined main street leading to the temple was beautiful. And there were some local parks that were nice to walk to.Guest review bymitchUnited States - 10.0

Machida has everything you need for shopping plus the Odakyu Line into Shinjuku or the Yokohama Line into Yokohama if you need to hit the big time. Still comoared to most North American towns, Westerners will think Machida is HUUUUGE and super busy. For Kanto region I'd saw it's a hub for Kanagawa but manageable. Food choices at and around the station are excellent. Hotels are way cheaper than in central Tokyo yet you are only 30 to 60 mins on any train to wherever you need to go. Direct buses from Narita and Henda airports as well so no need to deal with hauling luggage on trains. Or just takyubin (courier) luggage to Mahcida from airport.Guest review byBDonutCanada - 10.0
The city is literally amazing.
The city is literally amazing. Everything you could want is right there in your hotel or walking distance. Great cafes, izakayas, shopping, exploring-literally everything. Not as busy as some areas in Tokyo, and I fell in love. Will be back soon.Guest review byChristopherUnited States - 8.0
The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities.
The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities. But you will likely need to rent a car to reach some of the more remote areas easily. There are buses and taxis, but you may have to wait quite a bit of time. Many of the restaurants will close during the afternoon and early evening, so be sure to have some snacks prepared or stay in a place with a kitchen.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo.
Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo. We explored the beautiful Inokashira Park and other points further west such as Chofu and Koganei. We ate at a great izakaya that specialises in squid called Totomaro. There's plenty of shopping, including Don Quijote and Yuzawaya. Kichijoji is on the Chuo line which connects with Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. It's also really well serviced with buses.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 10.0

We took a Get Your Guide private tour to Mount Fuji, and he was amazing. We did the cable car over the volcano and cruised on the river and saw Japanese houses, shops, and great food,8to 10-hour day, but it was the best ever.Guest review bySharonAustralia - 10.0
Love this neighbourhood.
Love this neighbourhood. I lived in Japan for several years, 2 decades ago, and I have gone back a few times for a visit. First time for me to be in Tachikawa. It has great vibe, a bit of hustle bustle, but not crowded and suffocating like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Lots of shops and cheap restaurants. Not touristy at all and you can observe locals doing their everyday business if that is your thing.Guest review byAnonymous
