They are so kind doing the best for the client, I felt they have this very good heart that you remember later. Fresh New comfortable rooms and good to see sri lankan cultural attitudes welcome to stay here more days. We had also the chance to taste their food and fish! and they are very good cookers! Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

We had a great time in Spice Trail! Excellent location and very helpful staff. Himasha LEO showed us some nice places in the area and told us a lot about Arugam Bay & Sri Lanka. If you are going to Arugam Bay, you can't skip this place! The swimming pool is perfect.

Absolutely stunning beach front hotel, pool was great with the kids, the chef was incredible - every dish was super tasty. We loved the outdoor chilling area and bean bags. Rooms were very spacious and stunning views of the ocean. And it was so close to the hustle of Arugam Bay!

I initially booked for 2 nights and then ended up staying for a week. Hassan was a fantastic host and was able to help with travel arrangements and plans. My room was comfortable and had a view of the beach from my balcony (the beach was about 15m away as the hotel is right on the beach). It's located far enough away from the point and busy end of town that it's nice and quiet at night but only about 15 minutes walk down the beach or main road to all busier bars. I would happily come back and stay here again for an extended stay. Compared with other places I stayed in Arugam Bay my room here was larger and to a much higher standard.

Beautiful beach hut really cosy I loved it ! The manager Kady was really nice and helpful, got me a scooter to rent super cheap, gave me a lot a tips for places to see around, he was really lovely :) The staff in general was really polite and nice :) The smaller Huts are not on the beach but only 50m from it and it was good enough. The share bathroom is cleaned every morning, the shower pressure is great ! I've booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4 :) Thank you again for the stay !!!

I loved my stay here. The location is great because you are tucked away just out of the busy area yet still close enough to get involved if you want. The staff are amazing and they go the extra mile to make sure you are happy! The rooms are massive, clean and the beds are super comfortable!

Nice Place is very well located. The manager Reefai is fantastic, full of good advice and references. Thank you for the Lagoon Safari, surfing and Ayurvedic treatment tips, we enjoyed it very much and the DR helped me with my back pain.

You are more likely to meet a European than a local here.

You are more likely to meet a European than a local here. This is definately not a reflection on Sri Lankan culture, however the beach town is slow and quiet (realtively speaking) and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. And of coure, the surf is consistent and the water warm. It's a winner for a beach holiday.

The best feature of Arugam Bay is the surrounding jungle, lakes and lagoons. The main beach is very busy but other beaches, such as Peanut Farm are less crowded, Do thye Lagoon Safari and a park safari but also try surfing and relaxing on the beach.
