This was honestly the best place I have ever stayed. I travel a lot so that's saying something. Everything was 10 out of 10. The family is truly caring, and I felt so welcome and taken care of. I actually canceled my other reservation so I could stay here and an extra few days. The food, the room, and the service were the best I received in Sri Lanka - or anywhere. Such a hidden gem.

The building is exceptionally beautiful! We had the luck to be upgraded to a room with garden view. The whole team was super kind and supportive. Area is lovely. Jungle pools are clean and so much fun and this place is so nice and quiet away from the traffic. Lot of people during day but mornings and afternoon we had the whole poolarea for ourselves. Ravi the owner upgraded is to a bigger villa last night and also have us an intereresting tour in the garden! We highly recommend some days here if you visit the west coast of Sri lanka!! Thank you so much! We went with our kids, 2 and 4 years old.

We had a fantastic time at Heritance Ahungalla. The service was amazing, and the all-inclusive package was great value for money. A big thanks to Akidu, who guided us with all the details about the hotel and our package. The pool is large and beautiful, and the food was outstanding – with a huge variety at every buffet. Everything except for the few negative aspects I described but those are not so important. The room was big enough and the bathroom was oversized. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The beach is beautiful and not crowded as Unawatuna Beach. I liked the location, you can find a bus stand, and tuk-tuks are very easy.

We love everything! We ended up keep extending our stay. I think we stayed at least 5 nights. I love the view and the sound of the wave. This is therapy. The twins room is large enough to add one more bed and become a triple room. The staff team is super helpful and nice. They accommodated all our request! We highly recommend this hotel! I enjoyed my stay in Galle.

I enjoyed my stay in Galle. The place was very clean and the environment was relaxing. It’s a good location to explore the city and enjoy the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the beds were a bit old and already broken, so it wasn’t very comfortable. If they fix that, it would be a much better stay. Overall, a nice experience and good value.

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe. Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches. Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

Hikkaduwa is one of the best tourist beach spots with friendly and helpful local people. The weather is cool even though we had some rain, but we stayed at the villa on the balcony watching people fishing kayaking and canoeing down the River. The beach area has some unique fresh seafood restaurants, surfing, snorkeling and you can even rent out glass-bottomed boat to see underwater world. There is also a Turtle Hatchery here and Tsunami museum for tourists. Beach is very clean.

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier areas around the coast. The restaurants around are in great locations, and all very calm with great vibes. It's also very easy and quick to get to neighbouring towns to visit sites, or restaurants in those locations as well.

Great beach with very few people.

Great beach with very few people. Not suitable for swimming as the current is very strong. Also, as a solo female traveller, because there are so few people on the beach it is advisable to be extra cautious. One morning when I was walking by myself, there was a man in the bushes who exposed himself to me (intentionally). So use caution.

My favourite place was the turtle hatchery. Most meals were eaten at the Hotel. Very easy to get around. There is a tour agency opposite the hotel entrance, it cant get any better than that. It is easy to take tuk tuk or van taxis. Superior beach front view. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Well done to the management and staff for this top class facility. Local fishermen were easy to approach and social chat with.

Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach, almost just the 2 of us. Visiting Mahdu Lake at 6 a.m. watching the sun goes up. A natural paradise with a lot of birds and other animals. Listening to their different noises. Dining at the Mangrove Cave Restaurant we enjoyed freshest seafood. It was just very tasty.
