The Service was amazing, super friendly and really thought through. The food of the owners mum was the best food we had so far, i never had such a good mango Curry. Also the Safari was super, the Driver gave us always enough time to spot animals. In general, you gonna feel like home at this place.

He knows the park well, doesn't stay in the beginning of the park but drives well in the park to find the best spots! Dinner (curry) was great, Leels wife is an amazing cook! Will definitely recommend and stay there again.

Lovely authentic place. In our two weeks holiday with a lot of luxery resorts, this was the one we have the warmest feeling about. When you are looking for a not so touristic area, some magnificent views, a little farm life, and some great staff, go here. Oh and go for the Sri Lanken Kitchen, that’s better then the European:)

Mayava villa is a hidden gem in Ahangama! The villa is amazing a bit behind from the Main Street which is great because you avoid all the noise and you can enjoy some tranquility! It is 2 min walking from the beach and 5 min from all the bars, restaurants etc.. The villa it self is amazing, very good aesthetics and the staff is very kind! The breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay which we loved it :) definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed nature surround the hotel and in the garden. Very peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There are only four rooms, so not a lot of guests and private feel. The pool is clean and big (25 m and 1,5 m deep). Breakfast were very tasty - with local fruits, coconut water, coffee/tea and whatever is asked for breakfast. On the day we went to safari, we even had early breakfast. Manager Janaka took delicate care of everything and made our stay even more pleasant.
