CanadaStunningly restored riad, and Jan is an absolute pleasure to be hosted by – she is warm, effusive and very knowledgeable. She gave us a marvelous introduction to the city with advice on what to do. It was a short stay but she was always available and eager to assist.
The room was gorgeous – the most beautiful room of any of the places we stayed in Morocco. We were in the Mango suite (every suite is decorated and laid out in a very unique fasion). Everything is organised and thought-out – nothing has been forgotten. There were several ammenities that we usually only see in hotels, such as a minibar with snacks and a guide which included options for in-house massage. The room was spotless.
The terrace is exceptionally nice, with a view around the old medina of Salé. There is also an adorable tortoise named Sheila who came and visited us during breakfast. Breakfast was superb – a traditional Moroccan spread, and again one fo the nicest that we've had.
Another perk was that we were offered a key to the front door of the riad, which most places don't seem to have. This saved us having to knock or ring the doorbell when we got back from a late dinner. They also happily provided us beach towels for our Atlantic dip. The location is unbeatable, nestled in the old medina less than a ten minute walk from the beach.
Overall we couldn't have been happier. If ever we are back in Salé then we will be booking another room here!

The place itself was immaculately clean and felt instantly relaxing. The surprise of breakfast was lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

I had missed my flight and was kindly picked up at 2am from the Aiport which I cannot stress how appreciated that was! Made to feel at home and welcome during my entire stay and was even taken out for schwarma and shown the good places to go. Would definitely recommend staying here. Merci :)

Exceptional details, like the paintings on the walls and the greenery of the plants add a perfect finish to the design. The staff are warm, genuine and welcoming. It was the quietest Riad we stayed in , you could make the room really dark at night, so great for getting the best sleep. We wished we could have stayed longer. Excellent location away from the hustle of the Medina in Rabat we loved getting the ferry across for just MAD 2.5 each.. Just walk to the mosque overlooking the sea and follow around to the left until you get to the new marina development. The riad is ideally situated within minutes of local restaurants and shops and it takes 10-12 minutes to walk to the pier where you can cross the river to Rabat on a small rowing boat or to the tram stop. A freshly prepared Morrocan breakfast is served on the terrace, with a fantastic 360 degrees view of the Oudayas across the Bou Regreg river, of the sea and of Salé town and Rabat. Very close to Rabat, just a short walk. Take the public water taxi over to the main town as it is really cheap and fun. The souk of Sale is also lovely! The sea on the Sale side is easily accessible. The accomodation was great but you need a car to get grocerries and food. The restaurants are 2 or 3 only and with limited options. The walk from the the apartement to the restaurants is long as you need to go to the beach which has lots of steps as the property is on a higher level than the beach. Be aware of street dogs, as they are everywhere even on beach sometimes. The supermarket (Beem) is 10min drive with a car which has most of the basic needs. Also 4 pharmacies are available. Salé has much more of the old world charm than does Rabat, and after all that is why you visited Morocco in the first place! Naturally the street food and small cafes are great, but if you want fine dining it is within a short walk to the marina area. There you will have access to excellent food and a great selection of the finest locally produced wines. Try "Al Marsa" restaurant.
