Clean and spacious room which looked very fancy (like the rest of the hotel). Bathroom had a bathtub (additionally to the shower), just in case you want to take a hot bath. :) Staff was very friendly. Wifi was good. The in-house restaurant was good. There was parking on site. Would stay there again.

We had a great time at the hacienda. I took my two children there for one night and they absolutely loved all the activities. Contrary to what some other reviewers have said, I thought all the animals seemed well cared for and healthy. It may be a little challenging for non Spanish speakers but all you need to know is that you have to buy a package when you arrive at the hotel then you can enjoy all the activities. It was very reasonable, around 200 pesos per person for two days. The hotel was comfortable, the food was fine, the restaurant staff were very good. It's true that the restaurant closes very early, at 5:30, but you can get room service until 7pm. I appreciated that they called us at 6:45 to see if we wanted to order anything. We really enjoyed the camp fire at night, just ask in reception and they will light it for you and give you logs. My only complaint was that the water in the pool was cold. If you go with children knowing what the hotel is you will have a great time. If you go thinking it's a quiet countryside retreat you probably won't....

Loved everything about this hotel! Everything has been updated since the last time we were here. The bedroom was spacious and clean, very comfortable for our family of 4. The kids were really happy they had an awesome play area. The amenities were great, the pool is heated so even if its cold you can use it. The restaurant is really good, had an amazing breakfast buffet! There was a spa, but unfortunately didn’t get to go, hopefully next time for sure!!!

The Holiday Inn, we stayed at after a late flight, is part of the Felipe Angeles airport, the main airport of Mexico City for domestic flights. It is 45 minutes by taxi from the center of Mexico City. Taxis in Mexico City are excessively expensive, and sometimes charge fraudulent rates. Using Uber is a better option, but at airports they aren't allowed (on federal property). Perhaps a hotel somewhat more distant from the airport would be a good solution: a short trip with regular taxi, then Uber from the hotel to downtown or to the International airport (Benito Juarez).

WE went with one purpose: to see the Monarch Butterflies.

WE went with one purpose: to see the Monarch Butterflies. We were careful to plan our trip to include a sunny day as that is when the Monarchs fly around. If cloudy or overcast they tend to roost in the fir trees and just look like dried leaves. WE had a car so drove to the reserve and took the horses 1/2 way up and walked the rest of the way. The trip was very difficult and I would not recommend it to anyone who has mobility of breathing problems. We were rewarded with seeing thousands of them flying around int he sunshine. An Amazing experience. After the butterflies we returned to our hotel and the next day took it easy, having a massage and going into town to look around. In town there is a very fine crafts museum that is well worth seeing. We stayed one additional day in hopes of visiting some nearby pueblos. However, we were told there were no pueblos so we just wanders around town for another day. We should have cut the trip to 3 days. Warning: the roads in town are narrow, steep, and cobblestone. VERY narrow and difficult to drive over. Take care.

The pyramids are timeless.

The pyramids are timeless. The town is nice, but not exceptional. Tourist services are mostly bad. The magnetism, the greatness and the ancient will always be above whatever temporal inconveniences you may find on top. It is a great town to visit and great food. We enjoyed restaurants like Mexico Lindo great food, and also El Delphin great seafood. Beautiful drive around the country side and also visited Tonatico a magical town with a great ice cream palor - Manhattan

This is a clean Holiday Inn and well appointed.

This is a clean Holiday Inn and well appointed. Staff is great! Great location right next to the airport and very easy to walk to the airport. It is not a hotel you want to stay in for a week. It is a hotel that is perfect for an overnight stay on your way to somewhere else. It is the only hotel next to the airport and this airport is way out of downtown Mexico City.

Valle is a great place, I go often. The only problem right now is that the whole downtown area is under construction. Be aware of this before you go, I am sure once the construction work is done everything will be fine.

It’s Unbelievable to see an actual Pyramid!

It’s Unbelievable to see an actual Pyramid! The experience of seeing these pyramids and the temples is not the same as watching them from you living and watching it on your TV! But because of the pandemic no one was allowed to climb up the pyramids, we were disappointed. However, were able to stand next to it watched it touch it and take videos and pictures!We walked around for more than a mile and even though it was a long hike and a lot of walking l, it was tiring, but it was really really worth it and a a scenic wonder!!! I want to do it all over again!!!
