Stunning location and beautiful gardens

The place is an absolute gem in Vilanculos. It was created just a few months ago, it is all new, clean and to be honest are the best lodges in the city. I travelled to many counties in Africa and it is the best by far. They also have the best Portuguese food there in the restaurant. People sometimes just come from different lodges just to eat here. The accommodation is better than it looks in the pictures. If you stay here, the stuff will make sure you will have the best experience at all the most beautiful islands. They help with travel tickets, organization and everything. You can really relax and enjoy your holidays here. It is one of the magical places I want to come back taking my friends with. Enjoy it!

An Absolute Gem in Vilankulos: Tranquility, Taste, and Top-Tier Service My stay at Aguia Negra in Vilankulos was, simply put, perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a wonderfully well-kept and truly tranquil environment. This isn't just a hotel; it's a peaceful retreat where every detail is cared for. The natural setting is a highlight in itself. The gardens are exceptionally well tended, creating a vibrant, colourful oasis that invites relaxation at every turn. Coupled with the great poolside restaurant and bar, the ambiance during the day was second to none. Our accommodation was equally impressive. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, and wonderfully comfortable, providing a true sense of luxury. Waking up each morning to a great view of the ocean was breathtaking, especially watching the spectacular sunrise paint the sky—it’s a memory I won't soon forget. Gastronomy was another area where Aguia Negra truly shone. The dinners and breakfasts were phenomenal. Every dish was full of flavour and, importantly, reasonably priced, meaning we could indulge without hesitation. And of course, all this is located just a stone's throw from an expansive, unbusy, and exquisite ocean front. You couldn’t ask for a better setting to unwind. What truly topped off the entire experience, however, was the exceptionally attentive, professional, and friendly staff. Brian and his team went above and beyond, anticipating our needs and always greeting us with warmth, making us feel genuinely at home and looked after. They are the heart and soul of Aguia Negra. If you are looking for paradise in Vilankulos, this is it.

Great place! Nice and clean rooms, the staff was helpful with everything we needed. There is restaurant within facility. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is a true paradise for the adventurous traveller who wants to experience the real Mozambique! We loved our spacious clean beach bungalow with lovely shady deck from which we could see the sea through the palm trees! It was 100m from the sand. All staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Fernando brought us coconuts and opened them. Dalton is an incredibly kind and hospitable host. He recommended local restaurants that we loved - no menu sometimes, just go with the flow! There is no restaurant at Villancool but we enjoyed walking up to Baobab for breakfast and then back to the tranquility of Villancool. Our sunset Dhow safari was an absolutely highlight - a really traditional timber boat with old school sailing. Dalton can organise activities including kite surfing. We loved our time here. If you want luxury surroundings, room service, fast wifi and all that, this is probably not the place for you but to appreciate a friendly community in very comfortable accommodation, I highly recommend it. Casa Babi is a beautiful, cozy and relaxing dream destination. Sabrina and her team are very kind and generous hosts. Our stay was pure pleasure. We will return - for sure!

The location was spectacular. The staff were amazing and helpful. Rebecca really was first class and was there with information whenever we needed help. The bar staff and food were excellent with a nice "features" board. It is just a beautiful place on a beautiful beach. I miss it already
