The Appartment is one of the prettiest and cozy vacation rentals we have been to. Tastefully furnished and decorated, clean and quietly situatied. Topped of with a nice Sauna and a fireplace in the Living Room. 10/10

What a lovely house! Comfortable, clean, and spacious. The view is truly spectacular! We enjoyed our stay very much.

We spent 10 days on vacation with the family and chose a forest by the lake instead of the sea. The stay was wonderful – peaceful nature, fresh forest air, and a jacuzzi by the cabin with a view of the mountains and lake made it a perfect place to relax. The cabin is fully equipped for a longer stay. We drove 11 km to a nearby town for water and groceries. The host was very kind, always responded quickly, and helped with any questions. It’s a great place to recharge.

Perfect place to stay. Very calm and quite during April season, beautiful landscape. They served great breakfast despite we were only 2 families who stayed during the weekend. It was also great they had kitchen in common area where you can cook, make hot drinks etc.

Originally built in 1894, Dalen Hotel is situated close to the peaceful shores of the Telemark Canal and Lake Bandak. It offers free WiFi internet and free private parking.

Wonderful staff in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The location is superb. The hotel itself is a fascinating building- architecturally unique; it’s full of interesting artifacts and pictures which the very knowledgeable staff are only too happy to describe/explain. Dinner was wonderful - three courses was absolutely more than enough! Breakfast was equally good. We were only there for one night but wished we were there longer
