Breakfast was excellent for such a remote place. People were so friendly. Rooms were clean. Bar was nice, the resataurant was glass roof. They have many plants in the restaurant, and is claimed to be the greenest place in Svalbard. The views are good, Location is close to city center, and a walking distance from Radisson Blu where most activities are starting. Also walking distance from Church, Brewery, Museums, Restaurants etc. From Airport there is a shuttle bus and this is the first stop.

Staying here for the 2nd time, now during polar night. The hotel is incredible. Staff, food, facilities, location, the island in general - everything is so great. Definitely we will return there again.

I was greeted with my name at the door and the staff were all so friendly, kind, and helpful. It felt like I was talking to friends whenever I needed help with anything. They arranged excursions for me which were lots of fun and I really recommend, especially the husky sledding. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and the style of the interior of the hotel is beautiful and unique. It had a lot of character. The breakfast was tasty with a variety of choices and the chef takes one’s allergies into account. There is free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in reception and it was nice to sit there with other guests and have a drink with locally produced alcohol. The location is along the main shopping street of Longyearbyen and the airport bus stops right outside. Absolutely lovely experience. I will certainly come again.

Very nice cabins and amazing staff, location is not very central but close to the polar bear sign and with less light pollution in case you are looking for the northern lights
