The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

The room was just amazing, very large with fire place and balcony, great view view and free mini bar including Nesspresso, big comfortable bad and also big and comfortable beds, everything was perfect, also valet parking available. We stayed for about a week and liked everything -clean and comfortable rooms -breakfast was really good, amazing coffee by Bella -amazing staff, super busy but they were all so nice (Guido, Bella, Amelio and the manager) -we really liked the location, just a quick drive into town, lots of great restaurants nearby, very close to the airport

Brand new apartments with all you need. Comfy bed, terrace or balcony, kitchen, dining area. It feels a bit like home! Staff is friendly, and the whole place is exceptionally well maintained and so clean! Quiet area and still 10min walk from the centre. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We got upgraded to the lakeview side. The view there is absolutely breathtaking! We really didn’t want to leave our balcony ever. It was a really great stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, the pool & gym were nice and the food was good. Can definitely recommend it!

The scenery around Queenstown is spectacular.

The scenery around Queenstown is spectacular. We rented a car and drove around. My favorite was a road off the main road where we saw lots of sheep up close. We ate at Flame twice because the food was great, of good quality, and lots of choices. We went on the Skyline Gondola and the Walter Peak boat and sheep farm experience. We loved both. I even rode the luge at the Gondola. We also had the buffet at the Gondola, and that was excellent with tons of great food and choices, even for gluten-free and dairy-free. I went to the Onsen hot pools and massage and that was an amazing experience. The scenery was beautiful and the massage with Imas was great. My partner did the Shotover boat ride, and he didn't love it. He said it was very jerky and bumpy, and he loves boats.

This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park.

This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park. It is worth hunting out the less popular tracks such as Juday Track and Sugarloaf Pass as wellas the popular multi-day hikes: Greenstone, Caples, Routeburn and Rees- Dart, all of which are great but busy.

Kingston is only a short trip to Queenstown but is a small village with so much to see and do, Golf, Kinston Flyer train and the lake for boating without the all the people of Queenstown. Kingston has a bar and cafe at the train station and a shop for all your needs, great place for a stopover before or after visiting Queenstown district

It was close to the lake but about a 15 minute drive into Queenstown city centre so not really ideal if you plan on hitting the clubs constantly. You definitely need a car, it’s about $45 one way for an Uber. It was brilliant for taking nice like walks along the lake and chilling, reading etc.

So many options for adventure and exhilarating experiences. There's something for everyone. The luge was more go-karts downhill but great fun. Expect waits for first time riders. Best for minimum 3 rides. The Shotover jet boat ride was amazing and the Onsen hot pools super relaxing.

Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning.

Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning. The road trip there is overwhelming and there are so many fabulous hikes. The wee village has a great hotel with really nice food and vegetarian friendly, same with Mrs Woolly's General Store and good coffee.

Small town. Great general store.

Small town. Great general store. Cafe kitchens dont open till 12 so its just coffee n cabinet food till then. Epic views and good walks to do. Ate at Mr Glen's Taphouse - great coffee and cabinet food. Recommend walk around boardwalk and lagoon. Need a 4WD if going to Paradise - river crossings.
