- From US$211.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,468 reviewsRating: ★★★★★ I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entered my room, I was captivated by the breathtaking view it offered. The panorama of The Remarkables mountain range and the tranquil lake was simply mesmerizing, creating a serene backdrop that set the tone for a perfect getaway. The room itself was a haven of comfort, with thoughtful amenities and a cozy ambiance. Clean, well-appointed, and strategically located, it made for a delightful retreat after a day of exploration. What stood out to me was the proximity of the pool – just a stone's throw away. This convenient placement added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay, providing a refreshing escape and a perfect spot to unwind. The attentive staff members contributed significantly to the overall positive experience. Their warmth and willingness to assist made me feel truly welcomed, enhancing the sense of hospitality that permeates this establishment. Whether you're a nature enthusiast drawn to the allure of The Remarkables, a fan of peaceful lakeside vistas, or someone who appreciates a well-designed room with easy access to recreational facilities, this place ticks all the boxes. It's a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation, and I can't wait to return to indulge in the tranquility and beauty that define this remarkable retreat.Guest review byKathziePhilippines
- From US$192.71 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 405 reviewsFrom what I saw on the booking site I wad very confident that I would like the property. That turned out to be an understatement it was excellent. The accommodation was large in a beautiful location that overlooked the Kaiteriteri beach. That there was a swimming pool (indoor and out), hot tubs and the breakfast was excellent was icing on the cake. I highly recommend in fact youd be mad to stay anywhere else.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom

Queenstown is a cute little town on the waterfront. Great restaurants and bars, lots of touristy attractions. Close to the Mountain and Arrowtown. It really is a tourist destination. I definitely recommend the Milford Sound cruise. Also take a helicopter ride for the views! Stunning.Guest review byLindsay CoralNew Zealand - 10

There is so much more to see in Dunedin than what I could see on this trip, but I couldn't stay away from home for too long. Dunedin is a great place, museums, art galleries, interesting buildings to visit, beaches, historic homes and public buildings, wildlife places... and it's not overrun by tourists like Queenstown....Guest review byD.B.New Zealand - 4.0

I have been Late Tekapo 3 times, it is more expensive than it was. My recommendation is, stargazing is the only reason to make you stay in Lake Tekapo. Otherwise you could find a better and less expensive accomodation nearby.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 10

Very Pretty, lots of places to have a coffee or drinks, enjoyed a drink on the waterfront looking at a amazing view, also scenic drive to Lake Hawea and went as far as the lookout when the road takes you to top of Lake Wanaka.Would of loved to had more time to do some short walks.Guest review byLynleyAustralia - 10

October. We stayed at Te Anau 2 nights. It's a great little town ,very pretty with tulips and rhododendrons flowering. Middle day we drove to Milford Sound and back . This definitely is a 2hr drive each way . Would be more in busy times due to traffic or if very wet. If you don't travel to Fjordlands region you are missing a lot! After checkout we then drove to Manapouri 15 mins away-this is the departure point- as we had an overnight stay booked on The Navigator in Doubtful Sound - Definitely recommend this.Guest review byAnne-MareeAustralia - 8.0

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10

A beautiful part of the world. 1 extra night to explore the place would have been nice. Hotel located with in walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. Staff at the hotel were lovely. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was fully booked and the food was great. Definitely recommend staying here. We had a room with a view of the beach.Guest review byNadineAustralia - 8.0

The welcome from Victoria was excellent and the information she supplied was very helpful, we stayed in the different pools a total of six hours until they closed at 7pm, The day was overcast with intervals of sunshine, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and some thing to wrap around you if wind is blowing, excellent place to visit for us oldies or if you have kids of all ages,Guest review byDavidson - 8.0

My husband and I have been coming to Twizel for several years now. My husband comes for the fishing and I for the photography. We have stayed in all seasons. This time it was July middle of winter. Didn't catch any fish but I got some great photos. Had a lovely meal out at Poppies. Would recommend them. We were disappointed with our accommodation, but it didn't ruin our stay in Twizel.Guest review byUdenNew Zealand
