The hotel is very clean, the location is great, I did not expect the comfort in the room to be this good, all the materials are very high quality.. The staff is very friendly, they call you by your name.. Security at the door, receptionists, roof bar staff and housekeeping staff are doing their job well, We like ourselves in Istanbul we felt it :)

The hotel is centrally located right on the main road, making it easily accessible and convenient. The room, although small in size, has been cleverly designed and beautifully decorated to feel spacious and functional. Since it’s a boutique-style hotel, it's not overly crowded, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. What truly sets this place apart is the sincere hospitality of the staff — they genuinely make you feel like you're at home. I stayed for eight nights and felt extremely comfortable throughout. What impressed me the most was how attentively they respond to guest requests. Before my arrival, I asked whether the hotel had an iron and ironing board. They assured me it would be arranged, and when I arrived, I found a brand new, unused iron and ironing board already waiting in the room — a small but very thoughtful touch. I also follow a specific meal plan, and I gave them a detailed list of what I could eat for breakfast. Even the items they didn’t normally have were quickly sourced the same day so I could enjoy a complete, tailored breakfast without missing any part of my diet routine. This level of attentiveness made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free. I truly appreciate the owner and the entire staff for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. If I return to Coron, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

EVERYTHING! The owners, the breakfast, the place and its views. The room is amazing, really nicely decorated and with really lovely details. They arranged our motorbikes for us, we had a problem with the helmets and the owners gave us their personal ones, which were perfect. Such a little detail that makes a huge difference.

Wonderful place with lovely staff, very delicious food and an infinitely pool with an amazing view. Rooms are basic but good value for money. They have modern fans that are very silent, which was great during the night. I usually don’t sleep too well without AC, but here I slept like a baby. Would come back any time!

The room is very confortable, spacious and clean. They provide extra towels for the beach. They served breakfast at your room at the time you want, and they have many options, we loved the pancakes!! The staff is super friendly and kind, they helped us to arrange the transport to and from El Nido, and the tours to the islands (which were great). We really had everything we need for a stay in the Nido! We recommended 100%.

First of all, the position of the hotel was 30sec by El Nido port where most of the island hopping start, so it was very comfortable. The hotel is very new and the room are very clean with good utensils such as Dyson and smeg. But what made this stay amazing was the quality of the staff service!!! Everyone was so helpful, mindful, always available to our needs and suggestions. Big shot out to Rojie that was one of the most amazing person you can meet in a Hotel. We wish her the best.

If there is paradise, Pangulasian resort is it!!! We don't want to spoile all the wonderful surprises that are waiting for you in the resort... but must share some of them here: It all starts at the airport, where the resort representative came to greet us and take care of us on our short and pleasant journey to the resort. Upon arrival we had a beautiful welcoming from staff and especially from GM Thomas who made sure every day that our stay is nothing short than perfect! We stayed in a beach villa which was extremely beautiful and comfortable. The resort offers many complimentary activities including, kayaking, snorkeling and island tours that we were lucky enough to have them with Joe - who is an extraordinary guide! The staff were incredible- friendly, caring probably some of the best in the business! We specifically want to note Max who made all our dinners and breakfasts exceptional with her charming personality and smile. Also special thanks to Mike (food and beverages direcor), Ford and Amor (who managed and maintained our villa), Randy (the talented singer who made our dinners unforgettable) and all other staff for their exceptional service. The food and drink options were excellent and we loved that the resort believes eco friendly but yet manages to deliver top notch luxury!! El Nido Pangulasian resort is definitely a unique place for vacation for anyone seeking adventure, private, luxurious and natural beauty!!! We will definitely prioritize returning to this amazing resort!!!

I had an incredible stay at Astoria in Palawan. The facilities were top-notch, with beautifully maintained grounds and comfortable accommodations. However, what truly stood out was the staff. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. It's worth noting that the resort is somewhat isolated, with not much to do in the surrounding area except for a nearby aquapark. If you're looking to explore beyond the resort, transportation is necessary. However, if relaxation and great service are your priorities, this resort is an excellent choice.(from UKRAINE 🇺🇦 )

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!

Absolutely!

Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem. The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.
