The place was just like in the pictures. The room was on the second floor, and there was a kitchen and fridge on the first floor that people could use. The restaurant recommendations from Capacabana were also great. The staff were very friendly, especially Erwin, who was always happy to help and had a cheerful demeanor.

Casa Basa was wonderful! All staff are some welcoming, kind, and friendly. I rented a motorbike to use during my stay, and Mich kindly gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. The property is a 5-10 minute ride from the main General Luna area, but I preferred this; it was so peaceful and quiet at the accommodation. They were also working to make the Starlink internet even better during my stay—this made it easier for me to get some work done. There were occasional power outages due to the island-wide power issues, but Casa Basa has a backup generator, so things were restored quickly. Breakfasts and smoothies were delicious, and the adorable dogs were also a big plus for me. It was a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again the next time I come to Siargao! Thanks to the whole team!

Place os very good and welcoming. Also reception can help to find u bike for rent, excursion or surfing lesson. Breakfast was exelent every time. I loterally can't say anything bad about place. Also restourant itself good there, for lunch or dinner whatever. Nice thing that u don't need to take money every time u go restourant, u can just put bill on ur room number, very convinient, often did that when all wet after pool and didn't have money with me. Pool which they have always clean and nice. Room is big enough, balcony in nice to drink coffee in the morning. Parking for scooter in front of the place.

This place is brand new, and it's so beautiful. Everything is pristine and well designed including the nice decor and plants. Having your own private pool right outside the room is such a cool concept and I think it's what made our stay so special for us. The bed is super comfortable, which I find to be rare in the Philippines - the beds are usually too hard for me, but not this one! There are plenty of great bars and restaurants as well as the beach within short walking distance so the location is also fantastic. Can't fault this place at all, highly recommend it! Almost forgot to mention the lovely staff that looked after us during our stay. Thank you so much guys! We'll be back.

Thank all the staff! That makes the difference and this place the best place I have stayed in Philippines. Of course the location is totally perfect: the front white sand beach is so nice everyday, the water is clear when the tide is up and so quiet, the garden in front of the kubo and bungalow look like a dream, all just in from the sea. I needed a special place for building up a special project, I could not choose a better place. 10 days and saw many kinds of travelers, of any ages, all so happy, even a Philippines married couple that was received like in a movie. Thanks Rem welcoming me so early in the morning and open my room (no extra charge), there was nothing that was missing in all my stay, always present, all the information I needed to move out, so kind. Same for Jeffrey who manage this place with her, so gentle & professional, I felt in the good hands with you and thank for the discount for few days extensions! Thanks you both for maintaining, making sure everything was perfect in Ferra. Thanks Jenith, always smiling at the front office, present, beautiful & gentle, also taking so much care of my room. Thank Juliet for cleaning my room, terrace every mornings like perfect. And last thanks to A.J serious & smiling finalizing is studies of hospitality management. Lulu (Stéphane) - location 15 mn of G.Luna, easy, taxi any time or by scouter(they Rent-lower price) - new Air com, towels, beach towel, sheet change on command(please safe energy) - bathroom, mineral water tank, shower product. Unlimited hot water(safe energy) - Ferra as is own generator for power cut - kitchen out & place to eat. Common fridge, tea, coffee, stove, microwave - internet(starlink) best of the island(not at all as Manila of course) - ride come/go airport(lowest price) - like lot the philosophy of Ferra, “not” made to take profit of your money and I really appreciate.

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered

Poor water pressure in the bathroom.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Air conditioning was not working. No extra fans available. Care taker not helpful. I had to book extra room to accommodate my group since the original room they gave us is too hot, aircondition not working, no fan and windows won’t close. I had to pay extra money for the inconvenience.
