Then dinner was classy and delicious, the waiting staff wonderful. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, really good thank you. The room was comfortable, good bed. The small hotel is in a beautiful surrounding on the east end of the Bohijn lake, just a few minutes walking distance from the lake itself. If is a very nicely renovated building with smaller, but very cozy rooms.
Upon arrival we had to call the contact number placed on the office door, since it does not offer a permanent reception, but the owner was there is a few minutes.
As mentioned, the rooms are rather small but very nice, quite well equipped and clean.
What surprised us most is the breakfast - it is a surprisingly good selection and even on a longer stay you do not feel of having the same meal over and over again.
The staff is very nice and helpful, we have immediately received good and interesting tips for activities, places to eat etc..
You can park your car right next to the building for free.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ukanc Vila Park B&B, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is simply amazing, nestled by a charming small river that adds to the serene atmosphere. Jana, the owner, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, treating us like her own grandchildren. Her warmth and hospitality made our stay truly special.
The B&B is also a perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a plethora of activities such as hiking, canoeing, and even Viking-themed adventures. I highly recommend Ukanc Vila Park B&B for anyone looking for a cozy retreat with stunning natural surroundings and outstanding hospitality.

The Owner is a very helpful, kind and enthusiastic person. We had balcony with a beautiful view. Even if it's not the newsest place in Bohinj, it is VERY clean, has its spirit, the huge bed is very comfy and allows to truly relax after walking around the Bohinj Lake and Triglav National Park - which are very close to this location. Our dog felt very comfortable in this place as well.

A family with two children.
The apartment is a house with a living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a terrace on the ground with a garden.
The apartment has a parking lot, which is literally next to the entrance, which meant a lot to us.
The location of the apartment is excellent, and the apartment was just right for our family.

Everything was perfect, the room was big and cosy with beautiful lake view. We got the free upgrade as we came off season.
The lady at the front desk was super nice, check in was easy and fast.
Breakfast was at nearby hotel (part of the same group; two minute drive from Apartmaji Triglav) and was excellent with many choices.

Fantastic stay in a lovely house. Very close to the nature, lake and river basically in the backyard. The attention to detail from the hosts was fantastic; from breakfast and coffee to free bike and SUP rental.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...
We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and a great variety. The food was really delicious. We truly enjoyed the accommodation, and the hotel owner was lovely, helping us with every question and everything we needed. We got caught in the snow in the mountains, and the hotel owner drove us in his own car – it was so kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this place ☺️

The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the Bohinj lake a few kilometers away is the main attraction anyway and it is beautiful. There is a nice cyclepath from Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake with a few steep parts and soon the whole cyclepath from lake Bled to Bohinj will be completed. There are also some other routes around Bohinjska Bistrica but the area might be a bit constricted for serious cyclists. In July and August there is too much traffic for serious road cycling if you don't like a lot of traffic but we were told that from September it is much more quiet.

I love the Julian Alps for their stunning natural beauty. Everything is nearby, and you can choose from waterfalls, gorges, hiking trails, or enjoy water sports on the lake. If you enjoy outdoor activities in nature, this is a perfect destination for you.

Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled...
Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled lakes. Quiet area but in the morning we heard some cars from distant route and also train once per day. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got free pack of local eggs on arrive.
We were living in upper floor. The accommodation had everything we need for nice stay. The beds are a bit hard and noisy. Also I would add nets on the windows because there is no AC and opening window at night time might cause problems with mosquitos.

For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water...
For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water activities, nature wonders, local traditions, kind people, nice beaches, swimming, and on top would like to experiment flying like birds (paragliding) ! Do not hesitate, come visit Bohinj. And plan to stay long to enjoy all what it offers.
