The hotel is in a quiet place, newly renovated, great host that took great care of us and was available for all our needs. Breakfast was great. It’s a bit out of Ljubljana but that’s a plus. Nearby lake is nice to see and it’s peaceful and quiet yet near to Ljubljana by car. Rooms are small, but really nice. Doors can be opened with a code so you can check in anytime.

    Awesome location, especially if you are looking to be close to the ski resort Krvavec and have an amazing view. The owner is very polite, helpful and friendly. We also payed additionally for breakfast and dinner, and both were very delicious. The espresso is great too. :D Everything is super clean, this might be a cleanest place I ever booked on booking. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I recommend this place for anyone going in this direction.

    Exceptionally friendly and helpfull staff! We felt very welcome from the first minute. The apartment was spacious and well equipped and we had our own terrace to the garden. It was also great to have an electric car charger right in front of the apartment door. If we ever return to Slovenia, which we pobably will, then we would happily return and stay here again.

    The hotel is located in very picturesque area, in the morning we enjoyed the outstanding view on the mountains. Room was cosy and clean, breakfast was tasty. Especially we liked the hostess of the hotel, really kind and pleasant woman. This hotel really worth of staying here, for the weekend or to have a rest during traveling!

    Alpinka is awesome! It’s spacious and has everything you would ever need for cooking. Location of the house is great for some hikes nearby for ex. Veliki Zvoh. View from the terrace was something special. All in all we will definitely visit again and I recommend you do the same. One of the best stays we’ve been to :)

    A lovely hotel with very friendly hosts. Always willing to help with anything we need. We only stayed one night, but we wanted to stay more days. The hotel has a few animals around, which makes the stay even more interesting. Breakfast is delicious (we can make great waffles).

    Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...

    Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

    Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries we have been to. It was very lush and green and has beautiful mountains with little villages tucked away in between. WE love our visit to to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Postojna caves!! Keeping in mind that this particular hotel location is quite far from the tourist attractions but extremely close to the airport.

    Beautiful small Old World Town.

    Beautiful small Old World Town. Off the normal tourist path, so not crowded! Charming. Easy to walk around. Local pub had live music! Stayed just one night (before our flight) - could easily have stayed longer if our schedule had permitted.

    A stunning view on all over the country, lots of walking and hiking options in nature, and the air is amazingly fresh. Best choice for someone who needs to get away and enjoy nature and the mountains, just a 40–50 minute drive from the capital.

    Kranj is perfectly positioned city.

    Kranj is perfectly positioned city. It is very close to highway, it is close to mountains (25min from ski resort) and is only 2h drive from the sea. It has beautiful old town. The capital, Ljubljana is only 30min drive.

    Simona made our stay truly magical.

    Simona made our stay truly magical. We got care that we have never experienced anywhere else. She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!
