We have spent the New Year's Eve in the Sandek apartment at the hotel. It was an absolutely amazing experience/ The apartment was extremely clean and looked even better than on the pictures! Petar was an outstanding host and he always made sure our stay was astonishing, including bringing the pizza to the apartment. The breakfast was simple but prepared from the local ingredients. Everything was fresh. There was an option to order eggs separately which is always way better than having them ready. Freshly squezed orange and grapefruit juice was served complimentary and an assortment of lemonades was available. We will definitely come back!.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival, and allowed to put our bicycles in a safe place in the (unused) cafe area We had a very nice vegan meal in the dining room. What made our stay exceptional was the way we were looked after the next day, as overnight devastating floods swept through the whole region, and we were trapped by deep water and swift (and deadly) currents swirling all around the hotel. Water and electricity were cut off, so no lighting, toilets, showers or wifi. The staff went out of their way to look after us despite the heartbreaking mess the water was making to the lower floor of the hotel (a foot deep in places). After we were evacuated by emergency services the staff looked after the bikes and luggage we had to leave behind, until we could collect it a few days later. We will never forget the generosity of the hotel people, and the people of Dravogradu, for looking after two Australian tourists when there was so much chaos all around, and we hope that the hotel gets back to normal as soon as possible.

Amazing location, with very helpful hosts, beautiful surrounding with a lots of wooded area around this wonderful hut. Everything was amazing, the cottage the sauna and the whirlpool were just as described with quite straightforward usability. The food was exceptional with the homemade bread! And the cookies we received were delicious!

It is really family hotel, because Natasha and Primoz - our hosts are hearty and cheerful people :). The room was clean, breakfest was tasty and fresh. After exhaustive and impressive day while admiring beautiful country Slovenija (eg. Dolina Logarska), you can rest in hammock and relax. Worth staying here, even if you travel somewhere further !
