This was a great hotel with many amazing facilities. The restaurant buffet had a wide variety of delicious food. The gym and pool was great on top of the relaxing spa and massage facilities. We really enjoyed te view from the room, the bed was super comfy. Whenever we used the pool it seemed like it was our private one. We also enjoyed the breakfast which included both Thai and Western staples. The best part is the staff and how welcoming they are. The hotel offers tuktuk shuttle service to metro and one time the scheduled tuk tuk was stuck in traffic, but another staff member quickly sorted out another option for us the get to metro line.

Everything was perfect. The comfiest beds, friendliest service and a fantastic, well varied breakfast. We were blown away by the friendliness of all staff, and loved the view from the pool. It is a little further out to some of the ‘hot spots’ but staff can easily arrange taxis for you, for a reasonable price. We would definitely return again!

Noisy and humid but few flies or mozzies even around canals Bangkok traffic is famous but the MRT and BTS systems plus the airport rail link make moving around fairly stress free though crowded for most of the day. Visit: Ayuttha, River Kwai Bridge (not the original name, (actually means water buffalo) changed after the film. While there visit the war cemetary and take the trip on the Death railway. In Bangkok itself visit the Grand Palace and other sites in Bangkok if you can find your way past coach loads of Chinese tourists. Siam Paragon amazing selection of eating options and great for shopoholics. Sea world worth a visit

excellent hotel and facilities. Wonderfull enormous pool. distance to the airport for an airport hotel is a little disappointingly far; it takes a good 20 min by taxi from the airport. The return journey is slightly of shorter duration.

We didn't really venture too far, staying withing 2/3km of the hotel, and only went out for something to eat. There is certainly more to Hua Hin that we saw but we had planned this portion of the holiday for relaxing. From what we saw the city is easy to get around (walk and taxis), plenty of options to eat and drink (especially local food) and safe. It is on the quite side but that's what we were looking.

A must re the WW2 history.

A must re the WW2 history. Thai Burma Railway Museum really interesting and a good companion to the more personal Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre. The latter is worth a good few hours. We went by Grab and came back by bus to maximise the time and did the longer walk (walk takes c 3 hrs out and back). Take the train to Nam Tok and sit on the left going out. If you take the mid morning train you can come back straight away on the same train (need a new ticket tho). Get off at the Bridge station on the way back and walk across it. War cemetery beautifully kept. Good Times restaurant by river is really nice and staff are great.

The ancient sites were truly amazing and not to be missed. It was a lot of walking, but we visited most of them. There are many tuk-tuks readily available in the area. We ate at the night market, and I had some of the best food of anywhere in Thailand.

It all depends on where you stay.

It all depends on where you stay. Location to transport and markets and the room facilities in your residence being the deciding factor. The river ferry goes there if you are near the pier and some areas have trains - buses are plentiful if you know which ones to use.

Not a lot to like. There isn't really a beach most of the time - rather a stepped sea wall. It feels a bit rough. Probably not a destination that families should put on their list of places to go to in Thailand.

Wat Don Muan is a nice temple. Beautiful and peaceful. There is a local market near the temple. Interesting to watch around and taste local foods and fruits. People in the market who are selling foods are friendly and kind. Good to observe local people's life even while transit time of the flight.

This place is close to airport.

This place is close to airport. Took us hardly 20 minuets to reach. Close by lot of places to eat, 7/11 close by. After 9 in the evening becomes quiet deserted. Hotel does not have foreign currency exchange facility. You will be better off getting it done at airport as nothing is open close by for the exchange. Nearest exchange was told at Marriott which close by but closed and opens at 8 am.
