We stayed for little over a week in the Ozone cave and had such a great and relaxing holiday! Every corner, ceiling and detail in the whole hotel is perfectly decorated. With the absolute highlight offcourse the cave at which you have a beautiful view from your room. Furthermore the room is super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet corner of a little village with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. You can also walk to two beaches. But most important of all during our stay were Banana and her staff always there to help! She can arrange transport, day trips and renting motorbikes (which were in perfect condition). Thank you Banana for everything!!

We stayed for 3 nights, Mr Ping was awesome with free transfer to hotel both ways, and had motorbikes for hire too! Great pool, and loved the cats visiting whenever we sat on the terrace. Location was really good, only a couple of mins from the main road thru Ban Tai area, plenty of options to eat out, we chose the fairly new Night Market on our last night and had awesome food, I can highly recommend the Lasagne from Monna Lisa 😀 The only thing that I would add to the room is glasses for drinking and another bowl as there was only one, but that's nothing really, all good 👍

We had a room with a large balcony and it was great. It was a large and cosy room with a big and comfortable bed and good sitting space. The bathroom and shower were great with good pressure and hot water. The employees at the frontdesk are really nice and helped us with everything. Also the people at the bar and restaurant are very friendly. We had a great time and I would recommend the place. Would love to come back when I'm around.

Hotel is located near Haad Rin Beach where Full Moon parties occur. There are shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby. Hotel was great, staff was helpful with information and also helped us with our baggage. Room was big enough for us, AC was working, there was also a fridge in the room. There is also a pool which we only used once. We walked to Leela Beach (totally recommend!) and Sunset Beach. We arrived from Koh Samui to Haad Rin Pier and walked easily to the hotel. A lovely lady working at the reception helped us book a transportation from the hotel to Thong Sala Pier and then to Surat Thani Train Station.

It was an amazing hotel and I loved the whole environment, placed within the palm trees and other beautiful nature. I even saw a tiny snake and some squirrels! My bungalow was amazing, it was clean, looked renovated and had a functioning AC. I also really liked my hammock outside where I laid when it rained for a bit. I loved that the beach was close by and you could reach boutiques, 7 eleven etc just outside the hotel. Can only recommend this place and will def come back here when I’m back on the island.

Hotel provides for everything you need for a great vacation - we were picked up at the pier in Ko Pha-ngan and transferred to the property in a comfortable air conditioned car. The room was very spacious and had all necessary amenities - robes, slippers, beach bag with towels, tea station, mosquito repellent. Design of the room is very nice. Our room had a view on the pool and sea. Staff of the hotel is very attentive and ready to help with any request, so that you can relax and enjoy the holidays.

The place is like a huge hill, you go up in a preety steep (but not too much) road, leading you thru the beautiful accomodations and up thru the resto/reception/pool view point to the ocean, sunset, etc. The owner is very hands on and helpful, the team is super nice, room was super spacious with a huge balcony and the value for money is 10/10. But the real highlight was the restaurant, sooooo good! Thank you guys I had a great time and a soft landing.

I originally booked the hotel for only one night, but it was so beautiful that I had to extend my stay. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. The beach is absolutely stunning. I accidentally left my camera in the room, and the employees did everything they could to make sure it was returned to me. A big thank-you to the entire team — this will definitely not be my last time here.

It’s one amazing property right by the beach, the wooden look of the property is very scenic. The staff there speak good English and are very welcoming. Its located also in Haad Rin where the parties happen and is walking distance from where the main full moon party happens. Thai food served there is good as well. Very chill property and pretty cheap to stay as well. Overall very happy with my decision to stay here!

We loved our stay at Panviman! We had a room with a private pool and a beautiful view. It was quiet and private and romantic. The staff at reception and the tuktuk drivers were very kind and helped us with anything we needed. At the entrance to the resort you have a little village with everything you can think of - food, massage, laundry, taxi etc. Loved our stay and highly recommend!

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and...

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and restaurants lining the shore and lots of shops, restaurants around the strip. During Full Moon week, the atmosphere gets wild—every venue competes with fire shows and loud music, creating a chaotic but energetic vibe. I imagine the off-season must be much more relaxing, though I haven’t experienced it myself. Personally, I found the Full Moon Party a bit disappointing, though that might be due to my expectations. I'm 40+, and I was hoping for a more organized event with better music and a diverse crowd—people of all ages from different parts of the world. Instead, it felt more like a chaotic gathering of mostly very young partygoers (early 20s), primarily from England, Germany, and Denmark, whose main focus seemed to be drinking and drugs. In November 2025, the original party was canceled due to the passing of the King’s mother, so I can’t speak to the usual experience.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts. The beach is beautiful, shallow waters, a nearby reef, plenty of fish to spot while swimming or snorkeling. It completely changes from low tide (early morning) through high tide (from 11 to 5pm). During high tide, there’s not much sand left, but the resort’s sunbeds are perfectly positioned for relaxing just in front of the beach. Nice sunset views too (not directly but close)

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

My Wife Georgie & I just finished our wonderful 7 day stay at Kupu Kupu villas, I can honestly say hand on heart that was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had (and we have stayed at a lot of nice places) The setting is beautiful, tranquil and absolutely perfect for relaxing. Positioned perfectly with a semi private beach & shallow waters which are serene & very warm. The rooms & amenities are all fantastic, incredibly clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The food was exceptional as was the service all round. And the staff were all incredibly friendly and went out of there way to look after us across the week. We would like to give special mention to San, Bank and especially Admin who was absolutely incredible with us all week, we felt incredibly well looked after and were made to feel the personal touch of spectacular service. One of the most special aspects of the hotel is it feels so incredibly private, every villa was booked up whilst we were there, but the pool and sun loungers were never overused which created a very private & relaxing setting. We will 100% be coming back to stay here, I have already recommended to multiple friends! Thank you
