The room is huge, plenty of space to put our stuff. At the reception they’re very helpful, they help with anything and they give useful tips. Location is good, they offer daily free tranfers to and back from the beach. The swimming pool is a big plus, we loved the slide as well.

In short: you won't regret booking here. An absolutely phenomenal resort that will impress. We booked here without any prior experience with fishing. It looked great from what we could see in the pictures. When we arrived, I was amazed. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. The lake is a fantastic location with flat, luxurious, and spacious apartments. The staff greets you with a welcome drink and makes you feel very welcome. The manager is always up for a chat and regularly checks that everything is in order. There's also a large swimming pool for cooling off. We took the plunge and booked a half-day guided fishing trip. What an experience! You decide how much you want to do yourself and how much you want to be guided. So for us, with no fishing experience, it was very pleasant. Before you know it, after an intense battle with a catfish, you're proudly posing for a photo with your random choice. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Thai dishes to delicious burgers and pizzas. (Handy for the kids). There's also a very wide selection of breakfast and lunch options. A great choice for a stay on Koh Samui!

Everything was great! Rooms new, clean and spacious. Location ideal and quiet yet not too far removed from anything. Pool was amazing and happy hour at the bar very nice. Staff friendly and nice all around but special thanks to Rose at the front desk, was personable and knowledgeable, and always helping with a smile. Highly recommend Thai Fight for a great vacation in Samui!

This place is perfection. We stayed for a week, but could have stayed for much longer. ;-) This is the best hotel we stayed in during our Thailand holiday. What we liked the most: - The breakfast is out of this world. The a la carte options are amazing (avocado toast, iced lattes, poached eggs, smoothies and so on) and there is a buffet as well. They have an on-site coffee bakery shop with the best cappuccinos and home made pastries (croissants!) - Our room was very big and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom is 10/10 and we loved the shower. - The resort is very new, very beautiful and very clean. The typical 'Kimpton smell' is everywhere and we loved it. - The gym and the yoga classes are great and the Spa is beautiful! - Because the food was so good, we ate most nights in the hotel. Don't skip the fish restaurant or the cocktail bar! Service was also great. Summarizing, can't wait to stay here again!

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh Samui. I tried many of them and I can tell with confidence that Chaweng was the best by miles. I was based in Chaweng and I though to check the other beaches. I walked all over Lamai, which is very panoramic, but there is a constant stink wherever you go and the beach inside has a lot of corals/rocks that will probably hurt your feet. Crystal Bay was tiny, not comfortable because of the corals and overcrowded. I didnt see Fisherman Village beach while the others on the east side looked dirty. Choose Chaweng

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet.

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet. You will do everything that is possible on the Island in less than 4 days, after that you either enjoy the sun, pool, beach or numerous cocktail places. It's at bay s you wont have to worry yourself about natural disasters such as Tsunami.

We used Getyourguide & did a half day tour of the island which was really good, our tour guide told us loads, this also helped us tick lots of sightseeing of our list in less than a day. We were staying a short walk away from fisherman's village which was perfect because it was quiet but not too far to get a grab to Chaweng beach that we could swim in. Perfect location if you don’t want to be too close to the party.

We stayed over on Ban Tai, which was quieter with a beautiful sandy beach, almost no one around. I got a massage by the water with only the sound of the crashing waves which was the highlight on my trip. Great for families and good food all around.

We spent our vacation staying with family at a truly exceptional resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every moment was a pleasure, from the incredibly diverse and delicious breakfasts to the spotlessly clean rooms and grounds. The breathtaking views were enhanced every day, and the availability of amenities like yoga and the gym added the perfect balance to our stay. There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Very friendly people and going to a night market is a great experience! Traveling across the island is easy but it may get a bit costly if you have to take a van for 6 or 8 people. Beaches on the east side are nice but busy. Beaches on the west are less crowded but may get narrow and untidy due to the tides. Overall we were missing the very long beaches with plenty of palm trees and powder-soft sand. Worth a visit are higher areas of the island in middle, e.g. Dee's Chilling Hill restaurant. Also going to the Ang Thong Marine park is very nice.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
