Me and my girlfriend are visiting all Thailand, travelling from more than one months severals cities from south to nord and never we founded a place like this. Perfect position in a quiet road with some close restaurant and bar. We felt at home at Baan Baimai, the room was spacious and comfortable, with big fridge, A/C, very comfortable bed and a nice and large bathroom. Everything is clean and nice. But the most important thing that gived us the appareance to feel at home was the kindness and the hospitality of the owners and of the employers. They offered us a welcome coffee and gived us some tips for visit the city, also helped us a night to solve some little problem. Thank you for this beautiful experience.

Absolutely amazing stay at one love. The location is perfect! The historical sites are literally at the end of the road. There’s also a decent bar at the end of the road and a 7 eleven a couple of minutes walk away. I was welcomed very warmly and despite a mix up with booking.com I was given an upgrade to a private bungalow at no extra price. The hotel also offers breakfast and bike loans. Amazing staff and amazing place in the best location in Ayutthya and all for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place and will be staying here again on my next visit!

The rooms are lovely, all wood and the decoration feels like you are in sacred space in Thailand. Very relaxing; I had a wonderful time here. The restaurant has all kinds of traditional Thai dishes, beverages, smoothies, desserts. And people are helpful and kind. Specially Tony, the owner, he made my stay in Thailand easier, help me arrange the tour to the most important temples so I didn’t have to worry at all. I spend some relaxing time in the pool and had a massage. This place is a small paradise, if you are going to Ayutthaya stop searching, this place is a gem.

The room was artistically decorated with traditional Thai cabinet displays and looked out onto a quiet courtyard/swimming pool. We had stayed in the hotel pre- 2020 and were not disappointed on our return. It remains well maintained and popular, especially with overseas visitors. Lovely breakfast; lovely garden overlooking the river with Wat Phuttaisawan lit up at night on the opposite bank. Good restaurants within walking distance - turn right or left at the entrance. There is a small car park. Slept really well.

wonderful place on a nice island, withe send beach only disturbed by the numerous speed-boat playing around the pier. Nice place for snorkeling at the opposed end of the Samae Beach. Hotel staff very nice and helpful.

It's an important historical town, and there are a lot of...

It's an important historical town, and there are a lot of interesting ruins scattered around. You need to know something - quite a lot, actually - about the historical Ayutthaya period in order to get something out of the visit, otherwise you're just looking at ruins; and as cool as they are, they won't mean much without context.

My favorite part was the garden!

My favorite part was the garden! I loved the little rabbit and the chicken, and the garden was so pretty with the waterfall, mist, plants, and pond. The room was very clean and quiet, and I got the pool view, which was really nice. They have a lot of amenities, including a pool and a cute cafe, Moakmai. The staff were very welcoming, especially Khun Aey, who showed me around the amenities and the garden. They also served Japanese breakfast by the pool, which was a lovely touch.

The ancient sites were truly amazing and not to be missed. It was a lot of walking, but we visited most of them. There are many tuk-tuks readily available in the area. We ate at the night market, and I had some of the best food of anywhere in Thailand.

Other than the obvious stunning remains, it was very very easy to get around on all forms of transport. Everything is laid out well and signposted. If you've never travelled before, make this a soft landing!!! Bicycle is the easiest way and all the hotels and guest houses had lots of them on hand. Top tip.. I was reliving my earlier days travelling and I turned off all social media and lived in the moment. We dont need thousands of photos and selfies guys!! Some people there can't have seen anything going on, glued to phones 😢 The temples are more spread out than it appears in internet. Bicycle is perfect, walking is possible but it's a long soulless walk with nothing to see.
