We went to Capadoccia with my daugther and the Artemis is ESPECTACULAR!!!!!! Everything perfect!!! The room was more that i expected. The staff is really kind, especially Baruk, he was always helping us with the excursions. I really recommend this hotel!!! Then the hotel has a rooftop that is fantastic.

Mithra Cave Hotel is one of the highest point in terms of hotel location offering a fantastic view of the hot air balloon launch in the morning, however we found that a similar location hotel just beside it cost much lower having said that it wouldnt be fair to compare the rooms facilities and breakfast offered as we didnt get to try the other hotels hospitality. Finally the Hotel is just a 5 mins walk to the town, you dnt actually need to prebook your tour packages online as there are multiple agency in town that offers competitive prices which is at least a 20-30% discount if u book locally, all agency accepts credit cards cash EUR or TRY

We spent three unforgettable nights in this beautiful hotel. From the very first moment, we were enchanted by its unique design — the cave rooms were beautifully and cozily furnished, with attention to every detail and maximum comfort. The heated pool provided perfect relaxation, and the view over the town with flying balloons was like a fairytale. A huge bonus was the incredibly friendly staff, who took care of us with kindness and smiles. The hotel owner was also very kind and welcoming — thanks to him, we truly felt at home. Cappadocia was magical, but this hotel added even more charm. Thank you for this beautiful experience!

The arrival was late, but reception waited for us and order us a shuttle. Enes was very helpful in accomodation and arranging trips. Breakfast was very healthy and tasty, especially cheese. Everythis was perfect. Dogs at the reception are very cure and calm. Location was in the center, we had possibility to try different cafes and restaurants. We saw ballons on the morning, so close and beautiful. Terrace was equipped nicely for taking cool photos. We will come again. Thank you very much! (xoxo Olga and Alisa)

First of all, huge thanks to the staff. Every single one of them is so welcoming, attentive and they all have a huge smile on their face. They are always ready to help with tips and tricks about attractions. The view from the hotel is stunning. You can watch all the balloons from the garden, no need to go anywhere else. Hotel is located very centrally, important areas are just a short drive away. Moniq Restaurant is definitely one of the top ones in Cappadocia! Definitely recommended.

It’s amazing place with amazing staff. The location of the hotel is great, next to view point, restaurants and shops, but with good distance from the main street. The staff is really welcoming, warm and helpful. Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable. The hotel is situated in the city center, 3 min walk to the main street and 5 min walk to the panorama view of the city. The room was big, clean, equipped with everything necessary. The breakfast was good, although the same every day. It has a terrace on the rooftop, you can admire the city and the balloons. They have a small parking, I have parked my car every day in the same place, but the hotel was not fully booked.

Stunning, unique landscape.

Stunning, unique landscape. Easy to walk around the town - it’s relatively small with not too much traffic. There are some great walks, although you need transport to get to some of them. If you can’t afford to do the balloon flights, the next best thing is to climb the hill with the Turkish flag on it (you can’t miss it) just before sunrise and watch the balloons from there - it’s worth getting up early for. There is a small charge to climb the hill as it’s on private land.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

Tips of Goreme:

Tips of Goreme: - Schedule the balloon ride at least one hour before sunset. The red and green tour is a must to do also, but pay attention inside the stores they will guide you, it is everything more expansive in those stores. If you are looking some asian food go to Quick China, reasonable prices and good quality, if you looking for some nice steaks, go to Wood Fire Steakhouse.
