Arush is somewhat outdated. Full of history and character. A lot of old dilapidated buildings. Ladies, I suggest flat footwear as heeled shoes are Impratical and dangerous. Footpaths are uneven and in some places there are none, there open drains with and without cover. The ground is uneven in places. I loved the cool weather and pleasant people (mostly). Our taxi driver was so kind and considerate, ensuring we found our accommodation and were well settled in. Others helped me get the currency right till the numbers clocked in right in my brain, making sure I didn't lose money or get taken advantage of. Life is relaxed there. Loved the cuisine. Here, many tourists arrive from all corners of the world to climb the great Kilimanjaro Mountain or get on a safari across the land of the Masai, including Serengeti National Park.
