Best hotel in New Jersey!! Staff were super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great, big variety and they changed the hot options each day, which was great since we stayed for five days. There is a bus stop across from the hotel, the bus drops you off in Times Square (Port Authority Terminal) it takes anywhere from 15 to 25 mins to get there, depending on traffic. Hotel located in a quiet area and very close to American Dream Mall(Second largest Mall in North America), which is a most visit! And very close to MetLife Stadium. They have a nice patio area in front of the main entrance, during the summer. Hotel rooms are super clean, beds are very confortable, rooms are cleaned every other day. Free parking is a great benefit too. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Carlstadt At The Meadowlands. Amazing hotel, if you plan on visiting NYC.

All the good things you’d expect from a Hilton - staff welcoming and helpful. Room very comfortable (and excellent view of the New York skyline - extra for that though). Breakfast buffet or a la carte so that was good too, as were the choices.

Don’t stay in New Jersey to save money , if you are visiting New York ( Manhattan ) you will end up paying a lot for transportation. Add that money and stay in city center .you can save money and energy

Really clean, friendly staff, valet parking is a nice bonus. The breakfast can be a bit diverse, but overall our family enjoyed our stay here. Good transportation options to Manhattan (167 route is a 20 min drive)

Mahwah oh is a great area, I used to live in that area. So I only have good things to say about the town. Plus, it’s very close to a lot of things, including New York City and the mountains. And the Ramapo Valley area is just beautiful. Oh, we ate at the Mahwah bar and Grill and it was fantastic. Good prices and good food. Ok

Ramsey is a relatively quiet neighbourhood but as we were visiting family, that wasn’t an issue. We ate in a wonderful family run restaurant, Giovanna’s, on the Main St -fabulous!!! Anthony’s Pizza place next door was awesome and Uncle Guiseppes supermarket was within walking distance and offered the most amazing selection of food which we took back to the room to eat in the evening. We didn’t hire a car because New Jersey traffic is a bit crazy 😁😁 so we walked everywhere. As a result, our step count was in the tens of thousands each day!! Ramsey train station is a 30 minute walk from the hotel and trains run every hour to Hoboken, connecting by PATH to NYC. The town is easy to navigate and local folk are very friendly and helpful.

Traffic can be heavy, even in the early hours, but a great location for anyone traveling by bus or car to local areas and popular cities. Anyone on foot will be able to find plenty to do and eat as well. Lots of shopping in a picturesque community.

A very nice, safe town.

A very nice, safe town. There were many families and groups of people going out for dinner, shopping and the like. There are many coffee shops that are delicious and have nice ambiance. There are grocery stores that are amazing, big, beautiful, clean and great products and prices. There are plenty of things to do, being very close to NYC, Met Life Stadium and malls and movie theaters. There are historical sites and many parks with gorgeous views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and NYC.
