They went above and beyond in every possible way - proactively offering help, arranging courtesy tickets to the cable car without us even asking, and anticipating our needs before we knew them ourselves. When we accidentally left behind a valuable item, they didn’t just find it, they personally ensured it was returned to us safely. Truly remarkable service. Location? You can’t beat it. Right in the heart of Sunset Town, directly across from the cable car, everything is just a short walk away. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully clean, and brand new. The Japanese-inspired design is elegant, peaceful, and perfectly executed in every detail. What more could you ask for? Amazing staff, unbeatable location, stunning design, and perfect hospitality. We had a wonderful stay! The staff, especially the owner, were very friendly and helpful. There's even a WhatsApp hotline for questions about the apartment or the island. The apartments are new, modern, and very clean, including the towels and other amenities. Also you can see the daily fireworks from the apartments and the rooftop pool is beautiful. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice. When our original room was already booked, the staff upgraded us to a bigger one at no extra cost. They really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable!

The best thing about the hotel is that it's situated next to the most beautiful waterfront I've ever seen, wonderful for walking or riding a bicycle (the hotel offers them for free). The beach is spectacular, too. The hotel zone for breakfast and relaxing is very cozy and well-planned. Everything in the room is brand new and tidy. The staff is super friendly. Although some of them don't speak English fluently, their kindness + Google translate would make everything easy.

    The food on resort was pretty good, surprisingly though,...

    The food on resort was pretty good, surprisingly though, there were no Vietnamese food options. The Ibiza pool is great, and the beach there is super clean. The VinWonders amusement park nearby (2 minutes) is super fun, great value. The resort itself is extremely frustrating to stay at. Guests are not informed well enough about the resort, no maps given, nothing really explained, a buggy system that is inefficient. Buffet breakfast is good, if it's not busy, when it's busy, the kitchen can't keep up. All the restaurants on resort are Italian. Housekeeping doesn't use a checklist when cleaning, water doesn't get restocked, coffee not replaced, etc. They fumigated our villa before we arrived, it smelled so bad we couldn't stay in it, gave us all headaches. This matter was not given the right amount of attention to fix, I had to do a lot of follow up to make a switch happen.

    Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

    We were very happy with where we stayed on the Island as it...

    We were very happy with where we stayed on the Island as it was still very natural and the maintenance and protection of the natural environment was exceptional. However we were deeply shocked (appalled actually) when we saw other very built up parts of the Island with hotels and empty buildings by the block full. It was mass tourism and deeply disturbing and unattractive not to mention an awful destruction of the environment and local communities. For this reason we would not return to Phu Quoc and would not recommend it to other travellers.

    A good place for 2-3 day breaks.

    A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

    Phu qouc has the best weather, just cold and warm enough. The food is awesome. Its not as commercialised as other cities in vietnam. Its a cute small island with the perfect blend of love and culture. The roads are awesome, the infrastructure is awesome, the people are awesome.
