This property cannot be beaten when it comes to its amenities, service, staff and beautiful grounds. As a frequent traveller I can say this is one of the best properties I have stayed at. The staff’s attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile really make it feel like a home away from home. It’s amazing that they manage to provide the best service in all their offerings from food to the spa everything was excellent!

We stayed in the ambassador’s suite and it was fabulous. Such a unique and wonderful experience . I was quite unwell on arrival and the care and kindness from all of the staff across our stay was exceptional. The safaris were amazing, Kevin was a fantastic ranger. The food was great, beds comfy. Definitely recommend a stay at Inverdoorn!

Stellenbosch is for people who love wine and food.

Stellenbosch is for people who love wine and food. Or for those that like hiking. You have lots of choice for restaurants we loved the lasagne at Ginos. But we enjoyed Java it has a nice ambiance and the food variety was great. Portions are on the larger size. Great menu and great food. We did the Franschhoek tram wine tasting which we enjoyed. A visit to the car museum in Franschhoek is good if you are in to cars it only takes about an hour to go round but my husband enjoyed this.

Lovely town kept spotlessly clean.

Lovely town kept spotlessly clean. Vast number of restaurants and wineries to try. Lots of interesting shops and weekend market with live music was great. Make for the Tourist Info to get maps and booklet describing all the restaurants. Approx. one hour from Cape Town Airport. Intend going back next year - enough said!

Very cute, has some nice shopping centres, nicely located between Cape Town and Stellenbosch, nothing is a far drive. There can be some traffic on week days though, but if you leave earlier in the morning it's fine. Quiet place, easy to drive around or get an uber. Lots of wine farms near by and some great restaurants (trip advisor and google both have good lists for these). Some great hikes that are nearby as well.

Tranquility but the roads was not good at all.

Tranquility but the roads was not good at all. For non residents of Cape Town you should take into account that it is quite far from Cape Town centre and the price for Transport transfers are very high. Please do not try Aquila the price is relatively very very high and not worth it.

I went to see friends in Worcester - my first trip there.

I went to see friends in Worcester - my first trip there. I was on my own, so found the 10 days too long, as I did not have transport. I was thinking of looking for work there, but not many opportunities for my speciality - aimed more to tourists. People friendly - unfortunately their Tourism Bureau has closed down. Have to be aware of crime, but all over S.A. anyway - lot of poverty. Had a lovely stay all the same.
