- From US$86.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,884 reviewsThis tranquil gem of a place was such a beautiful experience. There is so much activities for both kids and adults. Breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing! Everything you need is on the resort, even diesel and petrol right outside the boom! My 8 month old had a ball of a time and the serving staff in the Eagles restaurant showed him so much love, all the time. There was a baby chair for us at each meal which was so convenient. Thank you Gooderson Drakensberg Resort, we will most certainly be back!Guest review byNicoleVietnam
- From US$82.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 378 reviewsChalets are really very spacious and modern, equipped with everything one needs. We didn't know what to expect as there are not many photos on booking.com, but the chalets really exceeded all expectations. Huge terasse leading to a big garden. Great views, very fast reliable internet, big clean pool. Nice staff. Really nothing to complain about, it's a great place to stay.Guest review byJanaCzech Republic

Excellent location so much to do.
Excellent location so much to do. The views were breath taking. People are friendly and welcoming. Excellent facilities. Security was excellent. No medical facilities near by almost stepped on a puff adder while walking on a path. More information on emergencies for snake bites required. Will definitely visit soon. Overall an excellent and magical destination.Guest review byvernonSouth Africa - 8.0

We had lunch at the pig and plough, nice menu - slow service, however, we still enjoyed the food and the venue. The Thokozi restaurant and Deli, good food and a nice variety. Sandra se Winkel was an experience - well worth going to when you are in the area.Guest review bySimon Stewart BWBotswana - 10

This is a quaint small town village in the Natal midlands. There are farmer's supply stores, amazing homesteads, a variety of schools, and with proximity to the Drakensburg resorts, and good springboard into the mountains.Guest review byRodneySouth Africa - 6.0

Electricity cut of many times during our stay due to the switch tripping. Drain clogged in shower. Carpets not vacuumed but only swept with a broom, which was evident in our continuous sneezing upon entering the room. Geyser switch tripped on checkout day and therefore we could not shower in our room. Rooms need to be better maintained and cleaned.Guest review byDevadasaSouth Africa - 8.0
Bergville is 'n pragtige plekkie.
Bergville is 'n pragtige plekkie. Soos met alle plekke in Suid Afrika tans, is die pad na en van Berville, vol slaggate en so ook in die dorp. Dit ten spyt, is dit die moeite werd om daarlangs te reis.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

There are several resorts and a number of smaller accommodations in this picturesque valley, a hotspot for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts. It is close to the famous Sani Pass, where 4X4 enthusiasts can ascend one of the highest and most scenic trails in Southern Africa. The town has charming shops and eateries, and many of the resorts offer a host of activities, restaurants and outdoor adventure options.Guest review byT_M_S_MSouth Africa - 8.0
Beautiful part of the country.
Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. We missed the TV but there is one in the lounge by receptionGuest review byAnonymousSouth Africa - 10

The various accommodation options make it perfect for couples and families. Huge grounds allow you to get away for some peace and quiet if you want, but we did not feel overwhelmed by people and the place was full. You can either go and feed carrots to the horses or take a short drive to one of the many attractions in the area.Guest review byRobertSouth Africa
