The Hotel is amazing! We had the best time watching Hippos, Elefants and all kind of animals from the terrace. The Pool was very clean and the rooms as well! The staff was very kind and always made sure we felt welcome! Food was soo delicious, we couldn’t have wished for a better stay then at Riverview Inn. Thank you!

We loved our stay at the lodge! It was the perfect base for our Kruger safari. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed hot showers with great water pressure. The fact the lodge was unaffected by load-shedding also meant that my partner could work remotely. The location of the lodge is very special as there is a neighbouring nature reserve, so every day you have new visitors - we got to feed zebras, and saw kudu / impala / warthogs / monkeys and other animals coming in and out of the lodge each day - the safari experience continues even when you’re not on drives! There is also a resident bush baby and janette! The game drives were also amazing - our guide Dirk Grove has three decades of experience and did an incredible job to get us in the right spots at right time to see the big 5 and rhinos too! We ended up doing 3 days of game drives as he was just so impressive knowledgeable - every day was different and special. The hospitality at the lodge is unrivalled. The team prepared our breakfast each day ahead of the drives and provided ponchos and blankets for us to ensure the most comfortable start to the day. We ate at the restaurant every evening (6 nights!) as the food was exceptional. The in house chef Ernesto made the most amazing 3 course meals every day at a reasonable price of R380 per day. Marcel, Lizette, Trudy and Terry were also so kind to us and just wonderful people who are clearly very passionate about what they do. We had a 10/10 safari experience for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much for making our safari so special. We would love to come back soon! Iman and Harry

Louise invited us into her wonderful accomodation very close to the Kruger National Park. The house looks even more beautiful than on the pictures! We spent our first evening drinking wine in the pool and were greeted by Zebras! Kudus, warthogs and mongoose were also frequent visitors during our 3-night long stay. The location was perfect, with a little SPAR nearby for grocery shopping. Due to the close proximity to the Kruger we were able to arrive very early in the morning to have the chance to see lions! Interacting with the wild animals in the backyard was also magical. The beds were soft and comfortable and the ceiling fan made sure that the rooms stayed cooler than the outside.

The place is magical! The house surrounded us with African warmth and comfort. Nowhere else have we seen such a richly detailed environment. The reality even surpasses the photos of the cottage. It's a pity that we only stayed for one night.

Marloth Park is large and has good facilities to support self-catering getaways. You can get provisions in the town and there are a variety of restaurants available. Ngwenya Lodge, about 10km away, has an excellent restaurant overlooking the Crocodile River with views into Kruger Park. There are viewpoints in Marloth Park where you can watch game and crocodiles on the river and look into Kruger Park. In addition, enjoy the local antelope that frequent the accommodation places and eat the game feed that you can put out to attract them.

We use Malelane as our last stop into Kruger. Being 7 hours away not only is it a good resting stop after a long drive but also the opportunity to stock up on Supplies. There is everything you need at the Mall. Between Spar & now Woolworths you are able to stock up well. Nice and close to entrance to Kruger.

I think if you are a couple don't choose single beds maybe double bed is better. The place is full of mosquitoes be prepared and buy something that can protect you that's what we did.the lodge is located in the township not good for other people .no microwave no kettle to make tea

There was an adquate number of restaurants.

There was an adquate number of restaurants. The shops were very sparing and contained basic goods. Security was good. The only downside was the additional time taken to get there because of extensive road works after Bombela (Nelspruit) and the inordinate volume of slow moving coal trucks going back and forth to Mozambique.

A nice place to be. Not enough for a short stay.

A nice place to be. Not enough for a short stay. There is so much to do and see if you visit a place a few days. The Kruger Park is within reach. The eateries are relatively a few km away. Rural but very nice experience for an urban person.
