The staff was kind, generous and willing to help, their service was impeccable. My favorite places was the bon fire area, the restaurant, the pool & my absolute favorite was the Spa! It was so beautiful, relaxing and amazingly decorated. I wish my home looked like it.
I mostly enjoyed the game drive with Brenden. He was professional, funny and very entertaining. He knew alot about animal trakings, different birds and how to attract them and knew where to find all the animals. I was very impressed with him as we saw all the animals we wanted to see but I loved seening the zebras, girraffes, hippos, the rhinos with their cubs drinking water and the elephants with their cubs also drinking waster, the lion sighting was my absolute favorite as we got a majestic roar. We spotted all these animals and more in less than 2 hours which was super amazing so well done Brenden and thank you for being the best tour guide ever!
The overall trip was amazing and I had the best birthday weekend ever! I'll definitely be going back in the summer!

Loved the natural feel to Kwafubesi- personally more preferable to the luxury "hotel-feel" lodges. The Staff were superb, food was outstanding (one of the best steaks I have ever had!). Accommodation very comfortable but also still giving the "in the bush" experience. As it is not a huge reserve you should get to see everything from an animal perspective - we got up close with elephants, saw lions feed and play after a zebra kill, African wild dogs succeed in a hunt for an impala - and the list goes on. One morning we woke to 3 cheetahs lounging about just outside the main eating area!! Special mention for Matimba, our ranger, who went above and beyond to make our stay superb

The place was impeccably clean with friendly staff who were always attentive and ready to assist. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, offering breathtaking views from the pool. The room with the jacuzzi provided an amazing view of the river and all the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was consistently outstanding, making it a truly delightful experience.

Never thought my Birthday was what it will be like. The Candles, Sweets, Strawberry, JC Champagne, Candles, Happy Birthday Baloons, The bedding written Happy Birthday above all the CAKE. The room was out of this world.

The friendly and attentive staff members. Koketso was fantastic and attended to us instantaneously. On the game drives, Tshepo was our guide, I'll definitely be asking for him again as he made the trip so great.

I liked the service from the reception, they were friendly. The view of our room exceeded our expectations. It was big enough to cater 4 people😊. Hope you can put bath mat in bathrooms to avoid wet floor and slipping.

The place is in urgent need of an upgrade. Almost all the kitchen items were dirty. The pots and pans were old and scratched. The knives were blunt. The dishwasher was broken. The bathroom mats looked like they belonged outside. The grill was rusty. The microwave is extremely old. The living room couches were terribly dirty, and the cushions were worn out and flat. The owner’s personal belongings, like cool boxes, were scattered around. The tap at the kitchen counter had no running water. The shower mats were mouldy.
The advertisement of the rooms on the website did not match what we got. The single beds were extremely hard, and the bedding was old.
The dishwasher was extremely dirty, mouldy, and broken.
The pool cues had no tips.

The reserve is very well managed.
The reserve is very well managed. Because of very heavy rains in the area, some of the roads were not good. We had all our meals at our lodge, so did not try any of the other places to eat. Our two games drives were excellent and our ranger did her best to locate interesting game for us.

Loved the homey feel and character of this huge space. It is extremely well equipped and well designed. The animals come to feed right in front of the house, and it is very close to the golf course. Main bedroom is very big, while the other rooms are smaller, so bear that in mind when booking.

The place is in a tranquil and remote area, so if you want to detach from the buzz of the city, you have the perfect spot.
The only thing that was a bit challenging was the gravel road stretch if you were in a small car.

Mabalingwe Nature Reserve was amazing, with lots of animals to see. The proximity to Bela-Bela for a day outing is so convenient and a trip to the Warmbaths Forever Resort is a must for travellers with children. We had a fun day out and great value for money. Remember to pack a picnic basket or goodies for a braai at Warmbaths. The facilities are well looked after and all the rides were operational.

Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies were very friendly. I wish they can renovate and update the hotel rooms it's outdated ,the sliding doors aren't working properly and fix the WiFi connection ,install fibre that would be better , activities are great really enjoyed ourselves with my family ,game drive, quads and massage enjoyed .enjoyed the bar and restaurant even though it's quite expensive!!!

Dinokeng is a bit disjointed and its not easy to find your way around - even with the map provided. We were not lucky enough to see the big 5.
The brewery is worth a visit! Not much game in the self drive area.

The house has 4 bedrooms, each numbered. We experienced the following problems.
Room 1 - Perfect
Room 2 - Missed a lot of globes. Couldn't use the bedside lamps or the lamps against the wall above the bed. Only 1 globe in bathroom.
Room 3 - Was a bit dirty and shower door couldn't close

Great venue to be at.
Great venue to be at. Remote but with all necessary amenities one could need. Nice club house and facilities but was disappointed they closed early on New Year’s Eve and most places were also not opened on new year’s e.g. waterberg zip line. Loved the Elements golf course.
