From when you arrive at the location until the bus dropped us off at the airport, the team was very attentive. The food was of high quality and very good! Same with the drinks. The rooms have everything you need. The hotel is very safe. It may seem price but when you calculate what you will spend in a five star hotel, transportation, food and activities you will see that's its totally worth it. We had the garden view room and we loved it then we moved to a river view room and it was also great! No matter the room you stay, your experience will be great! Highly recommended. Playacar Zona Hotelera, Playa del Carmen
Offering amazing views of the Caribbean Sea, Palmaïa – The House of AïA is a luxury all-inclusive resort that features large outdoor pools, a wonderful spa and beauty center, 5 à la carte restaurants and beautiful suites with private terraces. Its privileged location between the sea and the jungle allows guests to relax and reconnect with nature. I came here by accident, I needed a place to stay for one night because of a change in plans during my journey. As soon as I entered that beautiful lobby and was wholeheartedly greeted by smiling staff members, I started feeling sorry that I had just one day to spend there. Everything was perfect - amazing room and the whole hotel area, nice beach with comfortable sunbeds and convenient friendly service, the FOOD 🤤- omg, I’ve never been to a place with that many plant-based options, each meal I had was delicious, every restaurant I visited on the premises was beautifully designed and had a fantastic view either of the sea or of the jungle. The service provided by every staff member was what surprised me most of all I guess. All people were unbelievably friendly and eager to make every guest feel happy in relaxed during the stay. They also provided an e-concierge via WhatsApp, who assisted in all possible ways - to book a taxi, to book a restaurant, to send a golf car to give me a ride, to help me find the way to my room, when I got lost 😆 Very convenient! I noticed there were many activities offered - yoga and meditations and some other spiritual practices, I’m terribly sorry I didn’t have enough time to do all of that. Well, next time then! It’s also important to mention that they do really good job being eco-friendly and sustainable - no plastic bottles, renewable energy sources, they even produce amenities of their own (shampoos and show gels, after-sun creams and insects repellers) that are totally vegan. How nice is that? 💚 Needless to say, that the room was super clean, the hotel was opened in 2020 I think, so everything was new, fresh and shining. I’ll most certainly come again to stay longer and enjoy Palamaia in everything it has to offer. And cheers to the creators and all the people working there - you guys are fantastic, please keep being awesome ❤️

However, Cancun testing site followed Mexico City's time, so the testing time became 24 hours and half hour before the departure. Corrado was very willing to drive us to the testing site and interpreting for us. Even beside that, he was a wonderful friend with us. It was very enjoyable to stay at his apartment.

Beautiful location, excellent service. Staff was very friendly. Food was good for being an all inclusive resort, but no gourmet experience.
Loved the infinity pools with swim up bars, the private beach/snorkeling. The staff was amazing, friendly and so accommodating, able to book scooters, snorkeling, diving. We were able to walk to a few places outside the resort, ATM, Pharmacia, restaurants and felt very safe. The all inclusive restaurants were great, lots of options for food. The bed was so comfortable!
Great family resort right on the beach, staff on the whole were really friendly
Dream-like, huge apartment and surrounding. As someone mentioned: feels like an all-inclusive hotel but without the "all inclusive" part. Wonderful and clean beach with free beach chairs and sun umbrellas.
Kids activities were fantastic for our 5 and 8 year old boys. Foam pit, trampolines, adventure club, cinema, and zip line and waterslides and tons of other kids to play with! The pools were also great. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive resort! Plenty of healthy options too.
This is by far the best all inclusive resort I've stayed in. The customer service was outstanding and all staff were so attentive. The food was great and the restaurants made you feel like you were going out for a special meal while staying at the resort. The hotel is right on the beach which was great and varied live music each night was good fun. Big shout out to Arely, Oscar and Gerry in the lobby bar who were excellent! Thank you so much for looking after us during our stay!
My first experience at an all-inclusive resort was at the Grand Park Royal Cancun and I left it very dissatisfied. Firstly, it is an all inclusive hotel, but they are always trying to sell you something extra. It gets to be embarrassing. Secondly, the food in the restaurants is poor. thirdly, the pool is small and has few sun loungers. A lot of people want to put their towel on the sand. The service also lacks friendliness.
Love the all inclusive perks, bar, swimming pool, beach, jacuzzi, activities, different variety of food, the shows and the location. Indeed a very good family resort.
Staff were great, well trained. Tipping is usual in this resort and the employees are striving to please. We had a departure flight delay so weren't leaving until 3:00 and they allowed us to stay on the resort with our wrist bands which was great.Valet parking was included. Food was wonderful, entertainment was great. The only other luxury all inclusive I have been to is Sandals, but I preferred this hotel even though I typically don't prefer large resorts.
Our visit to the Mahekal beach resort was the highlight of our holiday. We've opted for the all inclusive package and was not disappointed; the food, drinks and service were exceptional. Especially thanks to everyone (Zuri, Angel, Kimberly, Vianney, Rogelio, Eduardo, Jorge, Enrique) at the Fuego restaurant for making my husbands 50th breakfast special! If we every go back to area, we will definitely stay at Mahekal again.
