Maria Magdelena is such a calm, peaceful space - exhuding the charm of Malaga, whilst feeling cozy and homely. Light and airy - with a lovely inner courtyard with plants and tables in a relaxed atmosphere. Simple but has all you need. The staff are all super friendly and helpful - I wanted to return for a second stay and was accommodated at very late notice! SO grateful 🙏🏼 ☺️Very easy and quick access to the old town - but far enough out to be quiet. Perfect - I hope to return one day!

Hotel was beautiful, they had lovely courtyard in the middle, with places to sit n lounge. It was lovely decorated, lots of plants. You can see the property is being cared for. Clean n quite.

The room was clean and stylish. Comfortable stay with partner. There was a pleasant courtyard, where you could either enjoy the restaurant or sit on a bench or in comfortable chairs and listen to the sound of water from the fountain. Also the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

The courtyard with the fountain was very nice and you can enjoy coffee/breakfast/dinner from the hotel's restaurant out there. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We stayed here after landing late into Malaga and wanted to rest before a long drive the following day and I am pleased I chose this hotel, it was very easy to reach in a taxi and was everything we needed.

Only booked here due to proximity of the airport but it’s actually much nicer than that; rooms are fine but the highlight is the courtyard containing restaurant and bar; nice climbing plants and bird song. Staff very helpful also

What a gem of a place, just charming and very historical! Our room had a little terrace that looked over a courtyard with a fountain. Parking was easy, we dropped off our bags and were given clear instructions on where and how to park just 5 min away. The gorge and bridge were an easy 2 min walk away. Absolutely perfect location.

This beautiful and charming 16th century palace is located just outside the city of Malaga, overlooking the town beach and the port. The townbeach is only a 10 minutes walk away, the town centre a short bus and taxi ride, but the place is still wonderfully cam and serene. The excellent breakfast is served in a romantic courtyard with a fountain, shaded by trees

We were amazed by the standard of the Opuntia Hotel. As soon as we walked in, it was a 'wow' moment, along with a feeling of tranquillity. The position of the hotel is perfect, the rooms are extremely clean and large, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Breakfast was situated in the lovely setting of the tranquil garden courtyard. Our stay was perfect. Thank you.
