We received wonderful recommendations that made our experience of Essaouira so special. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. We had a lovely view of the ocean and spent a lot of time enjoying the balcony and room. The breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. Someone was always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. We were sad to leave and dream to return.

Even though we arrived late in the evening, the owner was willing to prepare a delicious dinner for us. We were warmly welcomed. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The air conditioning was welcome as it was a bit humid. Wifi worked well in all spaces. Breakfast was delicious. The owner, Mohammed, was very attentive and catered to our every need. For example, we were interested in purchasing some of the traditional inlaid wood trays that Essaouira is famous for. He took us to a shop with pieces of very high quality where we were able to purchase exactly what we wanted in a low pressure environment.

Riad Dar Sebta is a riad located in the Old Medina district of Essaouira. The property features city and inner courtyard views, and is 5.6 km from Golf de Mogador. The property is 700 metres from Plage d'Essaouira, and within 200 metres of the city centre. One of my favorite Riad stays in Morocco! The location is perfect - very central, with everything reachable within about 10 minutes. The room itself was beautifully decorated, and we loved having easy access to the outdoor seating area and breakfast. I’d love to come back! P.S. The breakfast is fabulous!

Near to the car parks outside the walls but within walking distance to all the markets, alleys, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had the whole trip and we have been up and down the whole coast. The view from the rooftop at breakfast was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind and could not do enough. The bath was amazing and relaxing and they kindly lit a fire for the cool evening. We cannot wait to come back.

Each room is fitted with private bathroom which also comes with a bath or shower. The Riad Salmiya Dune is situated in the modern part of Essaouira, in a very quiet neighborhood 600 meters from the sand beach and about 2 km from the old Medina. Placed in and surrounded by modern residential buildings, inside its a traditional moroccan riad with a court, balconies and a terrace, beautifuly decorated with colorful tiles. It's clean and tidy, and very relaxing. The owners are very kind and informative, the room was big enough for our family of 5, the traditional moroccan breakfast tasty and abundant, with daily changing sorts of bread. The riad is easy to reach by car if coming from Marrakesh or Agadir, and the free parking is just in front of the entrance door. It takes only a few minutes to walk down to the beach, and about 20 minutes walking along the beach brings one to the Medina. We mostly went to the Medina by car - it takes 2 minutes, there are a lot of parking lots around the Medina walls, or by inexpensive taxi (70 cent per car). There is also a big Carrefour supermarket in just 1 km to the east. We enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend the riad to anyone looking for relaxation.
