Once you enter Chems Bleu are you treated with the upmost warmth and hospitality. We came for couples time and our stay was excellent thanks to the incredible caring staff. We received wonderful recommendations that made our experience of Essaouira so special. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. We had a lovely view of the ocean and spent a lot of time enjoying the balcony and room. The breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. Someone was always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. We were sad to leave and dream to return.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We felt not like guests, but like part of a family. Breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh fruit, warm msemen, homemade jams, and mint tea served with a smile. The location is ideal — a short walk to the beach, the port, the souks, and all the best restaurants and cafés. Yet once inside the riad, it feels like a tranquil oasis away from the bustle. We’ve stayed in many places across Morocco, but this riad truly stands out for its atmosphere, warmth, and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. We stayed here for two nights using it as a base before finding something different. Having moved to somewhere else we realised how beautiful this place is. The breakfast is amazing. And Helene who served the breakfast is lovely. The basic room was a little cramped for two people and two suitcases but still very nicely decorated. I would definitely stay there again.
