Amazing location and experience. Superb views from balcony. Staff is great and helpful, we needed a bit medical attention, all was organized. Room was small, but sufficient. Spa is great, not large, but we were lucky to have opportunity to sunbath outside - plenty of space - cozy and nice. towels, bathrobes good quality. Good cocktails, not so expensive for Switzerland :) Great stay, walking distance to few bars, we found one store, close to hiking trails and table cars. Super quiet! Love to come back!

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. We went for a day into Lucerne, and the manager recommended the best restaurant, Brasserie Bodu which we have since passed on to friends visiting Lucerne. This hotel was amazing! We got a room overlooking the lake and were not disappointed. The window/door/balcony took up the whole wall that overlooked the lake providing stunning views the entire time. They provided a bowl and bed for our dog that was traveling with us and greeted her along with us every time we entered or exited. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The restaurant was delicious and the menu is seasonal. It’s in a small but cute town with easy access to the bus that takes you to the nearest train station, it is also right by a ferry during the summer. They have lots of brochures for information on activities nearby and will gladly help you plan any excursions. There’s lots of storage space for all of your equipment and clothes.

The modern Hotel Krone is just a 5-minute walk from the banks of Lake Lucerne and Buochs Ferry Port. It features 2 restaurants and a summer terrace with garden lounge.
