This was the best hotel in China we have stayed in. You can see that the staff is very motivated and does their best to let you have a great time. They arranged great tours for us and gave us valuable information about what we should do. The rooms were fantastic, large and modern. Very clean as well, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was also awesome, great western options - also the restaurant was a rescue for us because in Yangshuo you can’t find any western food except McDonald’s. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone!

The atmosphere was picturesque. The staff was very friendly and helpful. you are able to wash and dry your clothes. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The food in their restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended

The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and most speak English. The facility is located right on the river. The food, both western and traditional are both very good. There are plenty of daily activities available at the front desk that can be organized.

The view was wonderful and the staff very professional. He helped me to arrange everything during my 2 days in Yangshou, including taxi arrangement and he also brought me personally with his carfor free, to take the bus to go to Guilin airport. He speaks very well English and he is very kind and smart.

This hotel is amazing in every way. The location is perfect as it is only a short drive to the main town with plenty of shops and restaurants (West Street) and can be reached easily by using DiDi or the hotel will help you but it is on a quiet road opposite the river with hiking/biking paths. Along these paths are numerous little pop up coffee shops, including 2 right opposite the hotel. The hotel has bikes you can hire. The staff went over and above to make our stay perfect. They are all so friendly and helpful and really care about their guests. Suzy and the rest of the staff arranged tickets and drivers to Xing Ping Ancient town, the Sanjie Liu Night Show and Ruyi Peak Cable Car. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and the beds extremely comfortable, they even had electric blankets. The views from the rooms are just incredible. This hotel was absolutely perfect for our trip and I can’t wait to come back.

I stayed at the Zen Hotel for two nights and had the most wonderful experience. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—overlooking majestic mountains and endless pink lotus fields. My room was spotlessly clean, and the view from the window was simply awe-inspiring. As a solo female traveler, I deeply appreciated the warm and attentive staff. A special thank you goes to Karlie, who made my stay truly special. On her day off, she generously offered to show me around. We explored the surroundings on an e-scooter, went bamboo rafting, and shared plenty of laughter. It felt just like spending time with a close friend. Thank you, lovely Karlie, for your kindness and companionship—you made my time in Yangshuo so memorable.To sum it up: a wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, and a highly recommended experience for anyone visiting Yangshuo.

We had a great stay! Our kids loved the bunk bed. Everything was clean and there even is a laundry room! The view from the balcony is amazing. The swimming pool was highly favored, especially from our kids. We even could rent bicycles for 20 yuan/day/bicycle and we could explore the surrounding. We can just recommend this place. If you want to go to the city you need a taxi.

everything is wonderful. Staffs are polite, friendly, and kind. They served me a fresh fruit juice while waiting for check-in process and gave me a souvenir when checking out. They use Chinese and English. You can see Guilin Karst mountains from windows all day. Amenities perfect. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature but not too far from city and sightseeing spots.
