It's very well run, charming, relaxing, cosy and quiet. Our room was spacious with a big bathroom. Amazing views. Communal facilities are great: large, comfortable sitting room with a massive picture window onto the mountains. You don't feel crammed in with other guests. Lovely log fire. Our room was first class, spotlessly clean and twice the size of a normal hotel room, the steam room shower and jacuzzi bath were a big bonus. As British people moving through, it was a traditional authentic German hotel and they were super accommodating of our lack of German. The evening reception staff were lovely and couldn't do anymore for us and spoke exceptional English. We got a free upgrade to a balcony room as it was our honeymoon with a mountain view which was stunning. It has a great spa set up, which was practically empty. Breakfast was good.
