Excellent hotel at a 10 minutes drive from Nordlingen on the Romantische Strasse. Very quiet area, free parking on site, garden. Good size room and bathroom, a/c, fridge, comfortable bed. We particularly appreciated the seating area outside our room, with a fountain (at 10pm it turns off, so doesn't disturb the sleep). Very kind staff

We spent a night at Katzenburg with kids before going to LEGOLAND and loved it. Unique experience of staying in a real 900 year-old castle (and touring it before leaving), yet with all the typical family-run hotel comforts. Playground for the kids in front of the castle. Private parking with no car-height restriction. Nice breakfast and tasty dinner. Lovely hosts.
