just wow , what a place ...top 3 hotels i have ever stayed .

Since I discovered this hotel nearly 20 years ago, I have stayed here on numerous occasions, and I simply love it more each time! It has everything I wish for in a hotel: perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, lovely grounds, and, not least, the most wonderful staff! They really go out of their way to help you with any problem you might have, they are invariably friendly and warm and make you feel so appreciated and welcome. On this last occasion, when I unexpectedly found myself in a situation where I really needed help, I had three "special angels": guest relation Reham, and managers Mohammed Youssuf and Elagia. A huge "Thank you" to all of you!

We book a room at this hotel for one night stay prior our Nile Cruise. Our flight arrival time was 8:30 a.m. and I had ask the hotel if they had a storage room were we could leave our luggage while our room became available. The hotel reply was quick and accommodating. To our surprise, once we arrived at the hotel, they had a room ready for us. We were so exhausted and happy to find a place to lay our head. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Breakfast was very pleasant, The Manager Farouk Was helpful,Receptionist Mohamed in night shift was excellent and Rana was outstanding

The hotel is managed by two ladies who prove that the famous Nubian hospitality is not something of a previous era. They will go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. When I arrived at 22:00, they offered to make me a home-cooked meal and bring it to the hotel (which I gladly accepted - it was delicious). I can name many more examples like this. I have never had this type of hospitality anywhere else in the world. The rooms are comfortable. The location is amazing - you can jump in the Nile from the hotel terrace. The view is amazing. The island on which the hotel is situated is a calm oasis in a busy city. There are no motorized vehicles (cars, motorbikes) on the island - only donkeys. A bonus tip: generally I prefer not to book tours and transportation via hotels, as these typically come with a significant markup, but Baba Dool is an exception - they can arrange great tours for prices that I have not been able to get anywhere else.

My family liked staying at Ekadolli so much. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional . Rooms were absolutely clean and the view was amazing. The food was freshly made and served. We could not recommend them highly enough
