We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.

The area is absolutely beautiful and the view from the room was so perfect. It was beautiful and a great place to rest while underway on the Camino del Norte. A must go.
