The location of Hotelli Korpilampi on the edge of a lake is just pristine. The room was quiet. Our particular room overlooked the lake and was near the end of the hall, so we were way out in the woods and right next to the lake. The breakfast was really good--so many options! My daughter lost her phone and the front desk staff kindly called the place we thought it was lost. We only used housekeeping once, and they did a great job. The room was impeccably clean. We hiked around the lake many times, and even though it was raining, got hot in the sauna, then jumped in the lake. This made the swimming pool seem quite warm! It was relaxing to lie in our room with the window open and hear birds chirping and hawks calling out over the lake. We did rent a car and found it quite easy to park and ride the train into the city and take ferry rides out to islands.

Very nice location- in the green area, next to the sea. Waling distance to metro station. High standard. Plenty of cosmetics in the bathroom. Good price for Helsinki standard. Delicious and varied breakfast. Free parking. Nice staff.
