Absolutely divine! This hotel is beyond words. Located on a private island, it created a perfect winter wonderland (we stayed in February) with a calm, pristine, and unique landscape by the frozen river. The staff were incredible—even before our arrival, they helped us book activities, making the experience completely hassle-free. The food was a true culinary experience—the bespoke three-course menu was absolutely marvelous, and breakfast offered a vast selection, including homemade vegan options. We probably ate the best bread of our lives here! Our stay was simply perfect. Plus, the hotel is being renovated to become an adults-only retreat, and we can’t wait to visit again in summer!

Clean atmosphere and surroundings, super comfortable room , great view outside, creative glass/treehouse. All sorts of toiletries, bathing gowns, slippers, umbrella, torch, and lots of towels were provided too. A beautiful bunk bed was there too. Extremely good staff. Kind, cooperative, and at our service. A car drops and picks up from the treehouse and vice versa. Lavish breakfast and customised service . Staff coming and inquiring if we needed something. It was season end, with very few guests still the staff was attending us and made customized food, even with the lavish buffet breakfast. Rakas restaurant ❤️🎈 We got an early check-in and late check out. Thanks to Elisabetta, Sofia, Krystal, Buddhini, Theo, Habib, and the restaurant personnel. Will surely visit again 😊

The apartment was very clean which is very important to me since I'm travelling with a little child. It's spacious (in our case for 2 people), fully equipped iif you want to.prepare meals like at home or wash your clothes. We enjoyed also sauna. Very nice location besides the river, with the nice view on the mature from the terrace and ideal for observing northen lights from our doorsteps, which was the man reason why we have chosen this property. Since it is out of the city and we didn't have a car, we used transfer service offered by the ovner and this turned to be cheaper than if we would use city taxi, Uber or ren a car. Mr. Tahir, the owne,r, is very kind, always available, at the service instantly for anything you might need (from the needle, adsitional clean towels to the realtime nitifications of the aurora) and very punctual for the transfers. We liked the stay in Lomavekarit very much, my little one even wanted to stay longer :-), and if there will be an opportunity to return, we'll certainly stay there.

This hotel locates in the city center, it is easy to get access to different sightseeing by walk. Near the hotel, there are supermarkets, restaurants, etc. It is a hotel with excellent location. When I requested a bed for my 6 years old daughter, it is for free.

Great location right in the city centre close to all the pubs and restaurants. Our double room was cozy and all we really needed for our two day exploration of Rovaniemi and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna too! Staff were more than helpful and being able to store the bags after checkout was a huge bonus! Would definitely be back again.
