There were a lot of stairsteps up to my room but what a view it afforded! I could see the entire width of the estuary and its tidal changes. And the room was large and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the serving staff were very cheerful every morning. Kudos to Gary who was pleasant, kind, courteous, and treated me (a senior female solo traveler) very well.

Everything was superb at Plas Y Dderwen; the hosts were very welcoming, the room was large and very comfy. The water pressure in the shower was probably the best we've ever encountered! (bathroom and bedroom spotlessly clean too!).

My room was small but perfectly laid out so it felt more spacious than it was and the skylight made it bright and airy. I can’t remember the last time I could see constellations from my bed! The WiFi was great. I was able to easily do a two hour zoom meeting even though I was on the top floor
