Wonderful staff, helpful and professional. Lovely room, had everything you'd want. Comfortable bed, powerful shower, seperate toilet cabin, underfloor heating, good soundproofing, lots of thoughtful eco touches; there is a recycling bin which is rare in hotels. Hotel is beautiful and covered in art, mainly impressionist, abstract, and modern. Restaurant is high quality, tasty, and very accommodating. My wife had a very restricted diet and they prepared all meals to her specific needs. I felt that everything had thought and consideration behind it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and staff couldn’t do enough for us. Made our little dog feel so welcome too. Food was delicious freshly cooked.

It was a splendid 5 star property, set in lovely grounds. A quick walk into town for dinner.

Absolutely loved it! I was tossing up between staying in a coastal pub or here and decided on here, it was so tranquil, so beautiful with the bishops palace next door and the fields full of lambs! Staff could not have been friendlier, accomodation could not have been better …just perfect!
