Lovely, large room with a little balcony overlooking the sea view. Pub was great for a meal. I loved the short story pamphlets left beside the bed and nice little touch with the complimentary drink voucher. All made it feel special. Only stayed a night as we were hiking the coastal path but it was definitely one of our better stays.

Lovely hotel. Extremely clean & great service, friendly & helpful. Breakfast menu is excellent with plenty to chose from. Very quiet, comfortable room so we both slept well. location was good for us.

Just 200 metres from Teignmouth’s sandy Blue Flag Beach, The Cliffden Hotel features 7 acres of landscaped gardens. With free parking, there is also a restaurant.

The grounds were spacious and beautifully kept. We enjoyed the Spring flowers. Being able to walk through to the seafront was a bonus. We didn't come to swim but there was a nicely appointed pool area as well as a special dog park in the grounds. The dining room had a very pleasant outlook over the garden. We enjoyed an evening meal there as well as breakfast. The breakfast options were extensive and good quality, with dishes regularly replenished. There was a heater in the bedroom which I appreciated on the cool Spring night.

An excellent hotel with new, modern renovations. Excellent rooms. The gym, pool and sauna are small, but we had a wonderful time there. The restaurant has good service and the breakfast was delicious. There is a good selection of fruit and pastries, but it's best to arrive early. The hotel's location is very convenient, with the embankment and city centre within walking distance. We recommend it 100%.

Brilliant location for English Riviera. Such tasteful and comfy accommodation with beautiful views and a really fabulous breakfast at a ridiculously cheap price. Just great, will definitely use again and recommend to anyone staying or travelling to the area.

We liked everything about Marmalade. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed, the room was very high standard. Suzy and Paul's attention to detail really showed and made our stay unforgettable.
