We were totally impressed by how welcoming they were for our dog. The room had a doggy bed and water bowl. There were also dog treats and a dog toy to entertain her. The well behaved dogs were allowed off their lead.

Location felt like in South of France. Wonderful dining, pre-dinner drinks on the lawn. Just perfect.

The Plough Inn in Coldharbour enjoys a pretty location in acres of National Trust woodland, around 4 miles from Dorking.

There is a very unique and calming atmosphere at this place. It felt like being transported back to Jane Austin times in a good way without being at all twee or kitshy. We loved every second, the food was greayt too. We took the local train into London for a day there. Perfect.

Booked a hotel near Gatwick Airport for early flight next day. Expecting regular hotel. Hotel built in old manor house, lovely surroundings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We would have been happy staying here for a couple of days and enjoying the peaceful surroundings before our long flights home. Highly recommend if you are traveling from Gatwick Airport.

We loved the location. The rooms were spacious, private, clean and cosy. The menu at the restaurant catered for all tastes and the food was absolutely delicious including the breakfast. Obviously, none of this could have been achieved without the fabulous staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
