※初海外旅行、日本人目線 1　ホテルというより「宿」といった感じ。都市部から離れ歴史を程よく残す町並みの中、さらに雰囲気を味わえる景観とイメージを感じることのできる宿だと思います。床や壁、家具が傾いていたりしますが、寧ろそれが可愛く思えて名残惜しいです。 2　付近は、若干ではありますが不審な人が見受けられるなど、初見からすると少し不安になる雰囲気でしたが、この宿は目の前の通りから路地のような所に入り込み、直接建物の中庭に入る設計で、他には見ない珍しく安心できる環境でした。中庭にはレストラン、バー、エントランス、客室への階段、裏口、トイレ等があり雰囲気が最高、中庭中央には屋根があり、テーブルや椅子が配置され、地元の人（？）のような方々が昼間から酒を呑みタバコを吸って静かに談笑しておりさらに安心しました。（その中にいた重鎮的なお爺さんが優しくエントランスの入口を教えてくれました） 3　朝食が凄い。イギリス人はあまり量を食べないのかな？　後日知りましたが定番のブレックファストがバイキング形式で（たぶん）食べ放題です。美味いベーコン、ソーセージ、マッシュルーム、焼きトマト、豆の煮込み等、いくつかの種類のパン、牛乳やコーヒー、私はかなり大食いなので何回も往復してしまいお腹がパンパンになりました。 朝食を食べる所は、昔のイギリスにある静かな酒場という勝手なイメージを持ちました。雰囲気バッチリです。美味しかった〜…
