The room and the pub itself were amazing, and the food was incredible, I recommend the Sea Bass and the Mac and Cheese. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Didn't hear too much from downstairs once we went to bed for the evening too.

Nice and convenient B&B in the middle of the peak district. Excellent basis for hiking and exploring the peak district. Good choice of breakfast. Friendly staff.

First time stay but definitely won't be the last. It was in a great location lovely and peaceful and it had a lovely warm welcoming feel. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Our room was lovely. Overall 5 out of 5.

Very friendly family run pub. We were a group of 5 friends and had 2 rooms with a very comfortable bed each. The rooms were very spacious and quiet as overlooking the beer garden. Delicious breakfast included in the price. Ate at the pub in the evening, the food was very good too. We were staying over to visit Chatsworth House the next day which is only 10 minutes away in the car so perfect location for us!

Great hotel located in the Peak District. A place where horses graze and the sound of birds fills the air. I called the next day after realizing I had left the pad in my room, and they told me not to worry and to collect it via Royal Mail. of course. I received the well-packaged pad safely at home. Very friendly staff and service. This is a hotel I definitely want to visit again.
