We booked here last minute as the place we were supposed to stay in Donegal had some plumbing issues. It ended up working out great because we absolutely loved this place. The owners were so kind and went out of their way to help with anything. The rooms were larger than I expected and were so cute. The location was so close to town, it was perfect. There was a common area that we didn't get time to use but would have been perfect for playing games. I can't say enough good things about Siân and Donegal Manor. Will stay here again in the future if I ever make it back to Donegal.

it's a stunning beautiful old but well maintained, and huge castle with lots of 4 walking/trekking routes; u can also go around with the bikes provided by the hotel; the staffs are nice and everywhere is just beautiful, lots of different rooms around the hotel lobbies and restaurants.

Location was amazing, 10 minute walk to town through a lively country road, the grounds were perfect with a view of the mountains. We booked the double twin rooms two huge double beds and a balcony on to beautiful garden surrounded by a woodland walk. Staff were very friendly, great vibes, everything and everyone was super relaxed, they absolutely nailed it!!! Hotels like this are few and far between, irish hospitality exemplified, never change!! Lastly the breakfast, finally a breakfast cooked to order with soft eggs, 10/10...definitely coming back and bringing more people next time. Not to be missed

We have thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Heeneys. The house itself is just beautiful and there is also a fabulous garden to enjoy. The bedrooms are absolutely stunning. The quality of the bedlinen, towels etc was amazing. We had everything available to us including water, tea, coffee and even cookies which the kids were delighted with 😁 I was particularly looking forward to breakfast having read all the rave reviews online. Well it certainly didn't disappoint. It was absolutely fabulous..anything that you could possibly want was available and all very high quality produce. I was very impressed when Breda offered to cook a mini breakfast for the children...I just thought that was such a kind gesture. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Heeneys it's absolutely perfect in every way. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality Breda wishing you every success in the future x
