The host was the owner, a very nice people person. the location is prety central, at a walking distance from all turistic points. Parkings are available also very close to property, some with payment some free of charge. about 4.5 eur per day to park. Rooms were nice, not with numbers but nicknames, clean and with antique furniture that made you remember the simplicity of other times.

The Lis is a family-run hotel in the centre of Asti. A bottle of excellent red wine of Piedmont is offered upon arrival to all guests.

Everything about Borgese is perfect. All the reviews you read are spot on and more. Giulia, her mom Grazie, Arianna and Adriana are so lovely and helpful. They booked wine/grappa tours and restaurants for us. All done with a smile. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of wine and nibbles in the sitting room while our cases were taken to our room. Our room was spotless and perfect with a balcony overlooking the most amazing view. Chocolates with a note was left in our room to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary and my birthday. On the morning of my birthday Arianna brought a cake and candle to our table and sang 'Happy Birthday'. With such personal touches they are more than a business - they genuinely want guests to have a good time and to experience Italian hospitality at it's best. We were so sad to leave and hope to return some day soon again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay such a memorable one 💖

Everyone was super nice and helpful. Breakfast had a large offer from sweet to savoury, fresh eggs from the henhouse too. Very quiet area and fantastic for wine amateurs.

Good location which is located in the center of Barbaresco. We could stay in the winery and enjoyed wine tasting and winery visit in the facility.

Beautiful hotel in a good location with a exceptional views. Although it is a small hotel, there are several areas to relax inside and outside so it almost felt we were alone and the staff were always around the corner to provide anything we needed. We will definately visit again!
