This hotel is quite close to the Nagano Station. The price is cheap for the level accommodation and the room is quite vast. Definitely the best hotel yet I've stayed during my time in Japan.

Amenities were aplenty - from free toiletries, loungewear/pj set, free locker storage and beverages. The bath house and sauna were a treat from skiing/snowboarding. Not to mention that the hotel has a very cute AI pet robot and the collection of manga/comic books and anime collectibles.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation.

Everything! Atmosphere, people and food! All was perfect!

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured....

We loved everything about our stay. The staff very warmly welcomed us. Our room was big and the futons very comfy. The food served at dinner and breakfast was tasty and delicious. The onsen was wonderful with a beautiful outside area. The location next to historic onsen is also great. They also provided us a free shuttle ride to the Snow Monkey Park (you take the bus on the way back but beware of the schedule because we waited 2 hours to head back to Nagano). Our only regret was that we couldn’t spend one more night at the ryokan. One night was too short.

The highlight was the Onsen....ut was an awesome experience!! Our room, which was a suite, was excellent and very comfortable!!! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful!!

Hands down the greatest place we've ever stayed at in Japan. The staff were extremely friendly, paying attention to personal touches, and making you feel valued and welcome at all times. The room was beautiful, with comfortable bedding, and the food in the restaurant is delicious and great value for money. The friendliness of the staff was however unlike we have ever stayed before.
